Quaint hotel right on the main road in town. Great bar and restaurant inside where the staff was very friendly. So many cute places to walk to in town. It's a wonderful place to visit with a warm, hospitable feel.

We stayed at this hotel in October for a music weekend. Staff were very helpful - in particular Deborah on reception who couldn't do enough for us. After a long journey we were thrilled to arrive somewhere so welcoming. We will definitely return, Pauline, Kitty & Teresa

Would definitely stay...

We stayed and dined at the Shirley Arms on a short business trip from the UK. The parking for us was very easy outside the front of the hotel, the reception staff were welcoming and helpful, allocating contemporary rooms that were large, clean and well furnished. We ate in the bar, but chose food from the dining room menu which...

Since the town was by-passed, I rarely veer off the N2 when going to / coming from Dublin. Decided to make a stop this time as a change from the usual stops looking for some food and a wee rest. The Shirley Arms, while very busy on this Saturday evening, provided a comfortable, clean and relaxing short stop. Seriously, the...
