Stay here for 4 nights for business in the neighbourhood. A typical no nonsense hotel. Clean, modern and comfortable. The personnel in the restaurant/bar are professional and friendly. There beds are great, sleep like a baby. It's quiet during the night. Internet is perfect which is a big plus fore a business stay. breakfast is typical Irish.

went there with friends to have lunch. It was nice, and massive for 12 euros. The staff were friendly. It was rather quiet as it was weekday probably. It was a shame that one of the glasses were dirty...

What a delight! Claire on reception was so helpful - as were all the staff, nothing too much trouble, happy to advice...

Called in to the The Shirley Arms for lunch with my family. Lovely surroundings very relaxing and quite homely in appearance. Nice selection of sandwiches and hot dishes. The service was attentive and friendly and the lunch was very good value.

Staff were wonderfully attentive and each one professional to the core. It was a winter wonderland. Strongly recommend a cheeky weekend in the Shirley...

Quaint hotel right on the main road in town. Great bar and restaurant inside where the staff was very friendly. So many cute places to walk to in town. It's a wonderful place to visit with a warm, hospitable feel.

We stayed at this hotel in October for a music weekend. Staff were very helpful - in particular Deborah on reception who couldn't do enough for us. After a long journey we were thrilled to arrive somewhere so welcoming. We will definitely return, Pauline, Kitty & Teresa
