Myself and my husband stayed last night for our wedding anniversary and I couldn't recommend it enough. We stayed in the house across the road that is part of the hotel, the room was amazing. Our meal in the hotel was excellent the food was gorgeous, and the staff were lovely, the waitresses Donna and Elsa were very helpful and... More

Enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Conyngham Arms. The chowder was excellent as was the lamb shanks. The service was very good with sufficient time left before courses unlike many restaurants where the focus is getting as many people as possible served in the allotted timeframe..

The Conynghams Arms is a great place for a stopover. I spent one night there before going to the airport which is only 40 minutes away. Cosy and warm, friendly staff, lovely food, especially the breakfast, which will keep you going many hours. I loved waking up to the smell of the turf fire! The single room was small but... More

We stayed here for onenight as we were attending a wedding nearby, it is a small quirky hotel with room layout not your average hotel style, although this is something that I quite liked about this place, however a few let downs soured our visit but not to the extent that we would not return. When we entered our room... More

We stayed at the house that the Conygham Arms has across the road from the main hotel. The house looks lovely, set in mature grounds. Our room was cold, there were no rugs on a wooden floor and nothing was done to improve the situation despite us mentioning it several times. Laundry was piled high outside our door which gave... We had our wedding here on Friday 14th October and we would highly recommend the Conyngham arms hotel as a wedding venue. From Louise the wedding co-ordination,to Barth the manager to Killian the head chef,Ruth in reception and all of the staff, nothing was ever a problem and they did everything we could have asked of them. The food was amazing... More

My family and I recently dropped into this hotel for Sunday lunch. I have to say I doubt we will return. Although busy, there seemed to be plenty of staff on. This is a small dining room but there are small areas at the front entrance for sitting to eat. The area we were seated in looked like a corridor,... More

A lot of stairs. Furnishings need to be redone. Staff were friendly. Best thing about the room was the toiletries which were all from some local soap maker. The coffee machine took a bit of figuring out. Nice to be fancy, but a kettle would have been as good and more efficient.

Room was huge. Really grand setting. Ask to stay in the guesthouse as no shortage of space especially for kids if u want the space. Food was very good as well. Wholesome and fresh. Wouldn't look anywhere else for a place to stay in slane

I ate at the restaurant here for dinner. The decor is attractive, the staff very friendly & attentive. I ordered the fish chowder & a main course of sausages & black pudding & a glass of Sauvignon Blanc & a glass of Merlot. The chowder was absolutely delicious. It included chunks of smoked cod which gave the soup a superb... More
