Myself and my wife stayed here in July and had an exceptionally good time. We were met and given a tour and chat by Aisling, had tea and biscuit's in the drawing room and later roamed around and explored all the gardens and grounds which have a multitude of hidden gems like pizza ovens and some really interesting wood craft.... Had a really exceptional stay in Rossnaree, stayed for one night for my girlfriends birthday in the William Morris room, absolutely huge room and bathroom, one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in with views of Newgrange. Aisling went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible, made us tea on arrival, had a... More

We booked a stay at Rossnaree, not knowing anything about it, except, it was in Slane. When we arrive it was to a wonderful, hidden, house high on a hill looking over at Newgrange. Stunning views of some of the most ancient spaces in Ireland and very accessible to the whole area. We had a wonderful room, again looking over... More

What a beautiful setting and house! There views over the valley are totally mesmerizing. Our boys loving roaming around the lawns and paths down to the river. It was completely quiet. The rooms are clean and spacious with tons of character and filled with art. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating with everything from meals to helping light a fire.... More

The house is magnificent and the views are fantastic. The house is not that clean. At breakfast the milk was off and some of the cereals were out of date also. Very expensive for what it is. The staff were friendly at breakfast in fairness but were just students travelling and only staying there for a few weeks.

We stopped in a bar in Slane to ask for directions and the response was "If you're going there your need your suit and a good degree". We got excellent driving directions. OK, if you wanted to be picky, you could say that the proprietor wasn't sure how the heating worked; about fifteen items seemed to be plugged into one... More

Four of us stayed here for two nights and we thoroughly enjoyed it. What a beautiful atmospheric home and gardens - with a parade of geese every so often against a backdrop of beautiful Countryside. All so relaxing and a great compliment to the owner, Aisling. We still rave about the fantastic candle-lit breakfast and everything so fresh and tasty... More

I fully appreciate that it was all my fault for not scrutinizing the small print, so due to circumstances beyond my control, ie back pain, I was unable to stay for the full three days, however we gave notice at breakfast on the first morning, and were prepared to pay for an extra day, but were charged the full amount...
