Had a wonderful relaxing stay in Bellinter House from the moment we arrived. The staff were wonderful and dinner was amazing . The food was of an excellent quality and well presented in the restaurant which was a a wonderful whitewashed cellar with a contemporary twist. After dinner we had drinks in the drawing room with it's big open fires...

We drove through beautiful countryside. We stayed in the two most beautiful rooms: great furniture, tall windows, amazing bed. We had drinks and chatted with funnest bartenders. We ate amazing food in the library, with fire roaring, comfortable on big couches. The staff were lovely - start to finish. Breakfast was incredible. It is not to be missed!!!!

What can i say about Bellinter House. We had our wedding there just before Christmas and I've been sitting here for 15 minutes staring at the screen thinking about our day wondering where to start! I figured i better begin by typing as i'll be here all night. Bellinter was the only venue we could have chosen for our wedding...

We spent a two night stay at Bellinter House in late February. We were greeted by friendly, efficient staff. The bedroom and bathroom, complete with old window shutters were very spacious and overlooked the front lawn. On the first evening we dined in the beautiful drawing room in front of a real roaring fire. The second evening dinner was served...

The spa was amazing. best back massage ive ever had. the products are voya which is a really good irish range. my therapist was called 'A' I think she was fantastic. Please note the Jacuzzi does not open in the winter as it is outdoors. the afternoon tea was delicious and very accommodating for gluten free guests .

We needed some R&R close to home and chose Bellinter House because it offered quality dining and a spa. Once we got there we quickly discovered that it was a house full of charm with a warm welcome. We were upgraded to a room in the Bathhouse/Ruin (which is off the main house) which turned out to be a king...

My partner and I recently attended a wedding at Bellinter House and booked an overnight stay. We were allocated a room in an area of converted stables which was fine. The condition of the conversion however was far from fine. The accommodation consisted of a bedroom complete and a shower/bathroom. I suspect that the owners attempted to give a "shabby...

Myself and 4 very good friends spent a fabulous weekend in Bellinter House. We stayed in the converted stables, and these were fabulous, and very spacious for 5 of us. 2 rooms upstairs, and 1 large room downstairs with a double and single bed. Very clean and just ideal for our group size. We enjoyed fabulous lunch and dinner over...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Bellinter House selected in the top new Hotels in the world by the Conde Nast Traveller Hot List 2007. Quote from Conde Nast Traveller Hot List 2007 review: "Huge original fireplaces and antique mirrors ... mesh with original designer furniture and quirky lighting in the atmospheric Drawing Room. The grandeur of great wooden staircases and beautifully embellished plasterwork is softened by personal touches such as lightbox wardrobes." ... more   less
