Room clean, tidy, very spacious, great location what more could you ask for. Friendly atmosphere. Don't let the no breakfast option put you off. Any amount of cafes and pubs to eat in at your own leisure. We will return.

I was booked into the lodge on the 19th July. The booking was made 2 months in advance. It was fully confirmed. The date was for my Birthday. Friends were meeting me & my partner in Carlingford, for a meal & drinks. However, just before we were to leave in the afternoon, the Owner contacted 'Booking.com', to say she was...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Oystercatcher Lodge on a Friday night in July. The lodge is in the centre of Carlingford and is a few minutes walk to all amenities. It is situated on the corner close to bars and restaurants. We stayed in room number 2. It was a pleasantly sized room with a double bed and...

My hubby is an avid bike/hike guy and I am not so a room to me is important. Add that I was sick on this part of our trip so the room became even more important so when i tell you I loved this place, it is from experience! Light, airy and looking out on Slieve Foye and the windows...

The lady that runs this is fabulous. She was so welcoming and helpful and offered a wide choice of recommendations of where to eat. The room was massive and had a fridge kettle, toaster and microwave. The location is perfect its right in the middle of town. Parking is provided free 50 yards down the road beside her house. Would...

Great spacious room, with very comfortable bed. Feels more like an apartment than bedroom of a lodge. Sofa bed also included. Tea making facilities, toaster, biscuits. Will definitely stay again here, next time we have a weekend planned. Better value for money than local hotels. Car parking is available next door at Lodge owners house.

We stayed here at the weekend as we were attending a wedding in the Four Seasons and there were no rooms left there. Perfect location 5 minutes walk from the Four Seasons. Very close to all the pubs and shops. It was quite noisy at night due to the Chinese across the street but this didn't matter to us as...

Over priced and freezing cold. Thankfully we were at a wedding and only sleeping there. We thought it was situated in a great place until we were woken up by drunken stags and hens fighting outside. We had breakfast in a little cafe on the corner - this was good value and yummy. Carlingford is a lovely place but is...
