The whole famine stayed here last week for a family wedding. One of the party needed special assistance, but not only were all rooms ground floor and wheelchair friendly, but breakfast was brought to her each morning. Rooms were delightfully bright, clean and warm - the electric blankets were not required. This is also the home of the Leprechaun Whisperer,... More

Stayed here over August bank holiday weekend. scenic location a few minutes walk from village. Nice clean double room. Breakfast was basic: two sausages, rasher and egg. Tasty but could have done with a bit more. €90 B & B.

I was disappointed with my stay. While the host was friendly the room was overpriced (€70 for one person midweek) and the facilities were just average. There was no shower gel, shampoo etc., in rooms and while I know that not all b&bs have these extra touches for the price I would have expected it. I had to be up... More

Both which are very big and have a balcony and conservatory(ideal for a group to meet for few drinks etc) Also Jackie and Kevin(the owners) went out of their way to be accommodating... More

Wonderful accommodations and delicious breakfast. As ever, a gorgeous view of Lough Carlingford and the Mountains of Mourne. Enjoyed the hike up Carlingford Mountain/Slieve Foy. Carlingford is a wonderful stopping point for us after Dublin and Newgrange as we make our way north. Many thanks to Jackie and Kevin at Shalom.

I booked one night in shalom on the recommendation of a friend. Suffice to say I wasn't disappointed. Jackie proved to be a very capable hostess and everything from advice on local amenities to the sumptuous cooked breakfast the next morning scored top marks all round. The room was absolutely spotless and a very peaceful night's sleep ensued. Shalom is... More

We stayed for one night whilst at a wedding. The downstairs room was clean and spacious with a double bed and a single. However when we arrived the room was freezing. There was an electric heater in the room but we couldn't get it on and were assured it along with the heating would be on for our return. We... More

I stayed here for 1 night in Feb 2016 as a team building trip with a course I was on. When I arrived and was shown to my room with my friend I was absolutely stunned at the facilities! To my own amusement I had previously sent an inquiry for the price of this particular room ( a self catering... More
