I always think that the best way to judge a hotel is to answer the question: Would you go back there again? The answer is a big yes. We were especially lucky as the weather was beautiful for the weekend so we really saw the hotel at its best. It is old fashioned but in general the staff are friendly,...

Sits as close to the water as possible. Beautiful hardwoods throughout. Great bar with bay windows, comfortable seating and attentive staff. Roomy room with all the appropriate features. Beds were very comfy as were the pillows.

The hotel is on the cliff overlooking Ballycotton harbour and the bay. The panoramic view is fantastic. With a bedroom overlooking this there is nothing nicer As for hotel itself we received a very warm welcome Our room was neat tidy and clean with a view as mentioned. The breakfast was excellant with some unusual choices. We would go again

I wish I could have loved this place as its quite charming on the surface and I will say the staff is incredibly friendly, solicitous and welcoming. It was just a wee bit underwhelming for an alleged 4 star hotel. The room was ample enough but bath a bit small and overall just out of date (for some that might...

The view is one of the best encountered in any hotel anywhere. It worth the upgrade to a superior room to wake up to this view. It is a friendly comfortable hotel in sleepy Ballycotton village. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. Great breakfast with varied menu. mains freshly made and served to the table. Good dinner too.nice bar...

Best breakfast i've ever had in a hotel. Pancakes! a real treat. Wonderful varied fresh fruit salad. Wonderful room with view over Ballycotton pier. one of my favourite views anywhere (and i've been around! LOL) lovely sitting areas with books of local interest and nature books to browse through.

The location of the Bayview overlooking ballycotton lighthouse is absolutely amazing however the Hotel itself needs a little bit of T L C. The interior needs a good revamp and whilst the food is good, portions are quite small, the staff are friendly only the young waiters at this mornings breakfast kept forgetting our orders which was quite frustrating especially...

This hotel is located right on the water and enjoys fabulous views from all the rooms, the outdoor restaurant/bar seating, and indoors. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves can use a bit updating, with older plumbing in the bathroom and older bedding. The restaurant was nice and the lounge was very comfortable. The food was very good...
