Good location near a particularly good restaurant which has won awards. Near the river. Rooms spacious and breakfast good. Would recommend this hotel for a visit to southern Iceland. There was a church next door with a graveyard lit up,with fairy lights at night. Good views of the river from our room.

This hotel was very nice, I stayed here for a night, they where very accommodating and nice to be around. To be honest the town itself is quite small and not alot to do but I found the locals to be very nice and hospitable.

Stayed in this hotel as part of a Secret Escapes package and I have to say it was my preferred hotel out of the two. Even though they are currently adding another floor to the top of the hotel, all power tools are stopped at 4pm, so you don't even notice its going on! (well I didn't anyway) Huge selection...

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of Iceland. The hotel is certainly not a 4 star. The rooms and bathroom was clean ( photos we saw on this site make them appear dirty which they are not) but beds are soft and pillows poor quality. Rooms are spacious but basic. Shower was surprisingly powerful once...

We had an overnight stay booked at this hotel as part of our road trip around Iceland It had been booked for us several months before as part of a "winter Romance" package, and looked really inviting. When we arrived about 4pm and noticed that there was a lot of building work going on on one of the upper floors....

The hotel is very nice, nice staff and even though there are constructions there you do not really notice them. The hotel is very nice but could really use some updates. Pillow was too soft - but that's me - usually hotels have one soft one and one hard one. Watch out for the water source - the heat is...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Secret Escapes package tour which I can highly recommend. Lovely hotel with very nice, friendly staff and nice tasty breakfasts. Great view from the restaurant. Clean. Accommodation was a little decayed and our bedroom could do with a revamp but other than that I would stay here again. We ate at...

We stopped here for a 2 night stay as part of a tour. The staff were pleasant, if a little disorganised, I've never seen boiling water take so long to refill and staff stood around talking rather than serving guests at the bar. The room was OK, if a little tired looking. Unfortunately we had a room overlooking the car...
