-This is a luxury hotel. I stayed one night in King Suite. could not have afforded more and even for iceland standards probably a bit overpriced but it was part of my honeymoon. -had access to the hot tub JUST outside the room! Heaven! Lotsa bugs outside but thats nobody's fault. -The room was impeccable. Comfortable King bed and updated...

Our accommodations were exquisitely clean and comfortable. There was more than enough room for my friend and nine-year-old daughter. We had our own private apartment which would be great for families on a vacation. The bathroom was enormous and well-equipped. Kitchen was equally equipped and the nice as I have seen in Iceland. The staff is courteous and helpful. The...

We (family of 5 with 3 teens) stayed here for 3 nights. Although we only booked and paid for 2 rooms, when we could not fit a third bed in the kids' room, they gave us a third room at no additional charge. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The only meal we ate at the hotel was...

Stayed here for one night on our first day around the Ring road. The hotel is well located near the Golden Circle Tour route. Its a very nice hotel- rooms are spacious and well equipped The dining room was particularly good-had a very nice Arctic Char- best I had in my 10 days in Iceland.. beautifully presented. We stayed with a big group in this hotel, positives are central location to many alternatives in the selfoss area, decent cuisine with a good selection of food. I stayed in a 'suite J no2' which I did not like ; somehow the suits are slightly bigger rooms, at the basement of a 2 floor building , hence restricted view...

Highly recommend Grimsborgir! My wife and I spent a week in Iceland and even the beauty of this country couldn't outshine the Grimsborgir. This hotel is A-#1. I'd rate it a 10+ if I could but the highest they allow is a 5. The rooms are fabulous and the staff are so wonderful. From the top all the way down...

We had a very nice airy room with a view across the valley to the mountains. Clean as a whistle, with a friendly staff. Best of all, after a long day hiking we were able to soak in the geothermally heated hot tubs. A great breakfast buffet topped it off.

While it looks simple from the outside, the hotel rooms are nicely appointed, great bathroom, clean and all the amenities. I don't generally take a bath at hotels, but after a day of hiking it was perfect. The tub was clean and big and the hot water was never ending. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are warm and the...

I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed my stay. The room was light and airy, the bed comfortable and the bathroom fully functional (apart from missing flannels and cotton wool). Staff was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

The hotel is outside of Selfoss (around 15 min drive). The rooms are nice and the view is nice too. Breakfast was generous. Staff was adequately friendly. What a I didn't like so much about the hotel is the fact that is seems to cater more for the bus (group) tourist. The hotel is pretty huge and lacks a bit...
