Room 3/5: The room was clean, basic and cozy. Was like sleeping in a portable. There is a back door in the room that leads you outside and big glass windows which is great to see Northern Lights. Wifi was very weak. Bathrooms were interesting - there is no bathtub or shower stall...everything is one level and combined. Once you...

Stayed 2 nights in Jan in order to visit the Ice lagoon and an ice cave tour at Hali. The location is really out of nowhere, 25km to the nearest petrol stations, Olis and N1. 100km to Ice Lagoon and Hali hotel. However, room is bigger than usual, clean and tidy as per pictured. Wifi is terrible, which is necessary...

Stayed at the Fosshotel Nupar for 1 night on our way to the Glacier Lagoon. The food was incredible and the rooms were simple .. totally not what we expected for a hotel literally in the middle of nowhere! Staff was extremely friendly! Would highly recommend!

We only stayed here one night and the accommodations were basic (no tv - thankfully), but it had direct access from your room out into a field where you could set up your tripod and wait for the northern lights as it would be a great location to try and see them. We struck out because it rained and was...

Bedroom was basic, with poor wifi. The breakfast had quite a wide selection, although nothing to run home about. The hotel itself is quite ugly, especially compared to the one 30 minutes up the road in Hof - but considering the price you can't complain too much.

What you see on their website is exactly what you'll get and it was surprisingly comfortable. The location is perfect for viewing the Northern Lights, if you're lucky enough to have the opportunity and they give you the option to request a wake up call (there is no telephone in the room, so I'm assuming they knock on your door)...

It's a nice location, quiet and dark ... So it was the perfect opportunity to catch the lights, as each room had a back door out to the grass fields too. Everything seemed new and clean, the only issue we had was with the shower area. The shower curtain was infringing into the toilet bowl's area, and there was not...

We stayed here the night before a glacier climb in Skatafell due to it's price and proximity (30 min drive). The hotel is very basic but was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a small restaurant with a very limited menu that is expensive- as with most restaurants in Iceland. The breakfast buffet in the morning was decent, with more...

Stayed here on the way back from an ice cave tour near the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Stayed in budget accommodation in Reykjavik so nice to have a bit more comfort. Rooms are very modern and comfortable. There is nothing to do in the area at night (stayed in November) so enjoyed a nice but expensive meal at the hotel restaurant....

Good location. Value for money. Breakfast is included and breakfast is good. Environment is good. But don't buy post card there, very very expensive compare to other tourist places. is the weather is good, open the room door you can see Aurora.
