We took the Hot Springs and forest half day tour on Saturday 14th Jan, which was fantastic. Good size of groups and suitable for beginners or those with a little experience. The guide was great - really helpful and knowledgable. Hot drinks and biscuits provided during and after ride too. The horses are really friendly and well behaved. No problems...

Notwithstanding some dismal weather we had a four day stay which will live long in our memory. The girls in the stable were brilliant with my 8 year old girl (who has been riding since aged 3) and also with me (novice rider, scared of horses). We were very lucky to have small groups for most of the time due...

I spent four days at the Eldhestar farm on a Northern Lights Riding Experience. The lights did not cooperate but the Icelandic horses were the real stars of my trip. What can I say about them? They are cute, fluffy, sure-footed, easy to ride and without a mean bone in their bodies. I rode two different horses each day and...

I'd like to say that the staff here are so professional. From the moment we booked a horse riding tour months ago, the staff were quick to mention that the tour we booked wasn't good for beginners (my mother) so we swapped for a better tour and they refunded the difference in our tours. Unfortunately on the day of the...

7 friends from a horse riding club went here to experience the Tolt on Icelandic horses. We weren't disappointed. The weather wasn't great but they gave us super rain gear & lovely animals to ride. We booked a private tour & paid a little extra not to have to share our guide with others. Fun day out & lovely refreshments...

We booked the horseback riding through Arctic Adventures, we didn't realise the riding is organised by a different company. The prices for these activities are so high, and we weren't sure how much the kids would enjoy it, so we booked the 2 hour ride (just under GBP 100 each). It was basically a horse riding factory. Buses and minibuses...

Thank you for you review. We are very sorry to read about your negative experience, in particular with regard to the amount of guests and lack of instruction. All our tours start with a basic, practical riding instruction, which you must have missed for some reason. It is correct that we have several buses arriving in the morning and with...

Here's the thing: horseback riding is a messy business. You get tired and muddy. But then again, so is most outdoor activities. We took the Below the Mountians-tour, which was a full day of horseback riding. We had lunch break close to a river with a view of Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull in the back.

I travel a lot for work and Tammy and Briggs? At check in are all stars making sure every guest is well taken care of (Tammy even went out of her way in taking care of a guest that was dropped off at the hotel by accident from Iceland air - she made new arrangements, canceled the mess Saga made...

Extremely impressed with the high standard of the Hotel. I stayed in the newly opened wing & really enjoyed a super lovely room with a stunning view. The staff were always more than happy to help & were fast & efficient in their duties, from the Reception to the dining room. The breakfast has big selection of Verizon's dishes whilst...
