We loved our stay here! It is so cute, cottage like cozy rooms. We very much enjoyed the hot tub at night. We also ate dinner here. A little expensive, but it smelled so good we could not resist. Dinner was amazing

Hotel itself is very nice and easy to drive to. Rooms are nice. Huge shower. Breakfast was usual but good. Did not eat supper there but the menu looked very enticing and it smelled good. Unfortunately our room was located very close to the hot tubs and the noise rom them at times was unbearable in our room.

The staff could not have done enough for us from start to finish, a special mention must go to Tammy who gave us invaluable advice on what to do and also weather updates! The breakfast was great too, with cereals, yoghurt, fruit and bread! On our final evening we had dinner in the hotel and the food was gorgeous. We...

The room was very nice with heated floors and a patio door out to the hotel's hot tubs. The bed was comfortable and the heated floors were great after a long rainy day. Next to the hotel there are the Eldhestar stables. I did not do a riding tour, but the tours sound great. Breakfast was great with delicious bread,...

Great half day ride! The horses are so beautiful and have a great temperament. The geothermal pool time was so relaxing. There is a large warm pool and a good size hot tub. The light lunch was cold cuts, cheese, vegetables, breads, and spreads. Also bottomless soup. The day I was there it was Horseradish Soup. SO GOOD.

This was a trekking experience I booked for my 50th. Eldhestar did not disappoint. From booking to arrival and duration they made my visit a fantastic one. The accommodation is gorgeous in a lovely setting. The Icelandic horses were all without exception of good nature and a pleasure to ride. We saw some amazing scenery and got a real flavour...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Eldhestar twice during our visit to Iceland, October 2016, for a total of 5 nights. We stayed in the original section as well as the new addition. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, with extremely comfortable beds, wonderful down comforters and pillows, flat screen TV, free wifi, ample lighting, windows that open for fresh...

This hotel was a delightful surprise, just off the main road a couple of KM outside Hveragerdi. The whole place was light and airy and our delightful room had underfloor heating, patio doors to the gardens and was close to the geothermal hot tub. The hotel is next door to a horse farm and of course, horses are grazing in...

Our room was clean and comfortable; the breakfast was fine. The member of staff who greeted us could not have been less interested and did not even make eye contact, just passed us the form to fill in and gave us the key. Maybe she was used to tour leaders who do not welcome small talk but it would have...
