We were running late and couldn't make it by the 8pm check in time, so we called our host and he made it very easy to do a late check in. It relieved a lot of stress! The room was modern, cozy and clean, and I slept like a rock once I hit the bed. I'd definitely recommend this place...

This place was clean and decent, but was one of our least favourite accommodations during our two week stay in Iceland. Luckily, we were only here for one night. The owner had apparently charged our tour agent for rooms with private bathrooms, but it turned out that there were only shared bathrooms available. The receptionist was nice enough, calling our...

Thank you for staying with us. I would like to correct that we do not charge the travel agent for private bathroom and give guests shared one -that is wrong and now corrected. Your description of breakfast is a bit dramatic ;) We do not offer buffet as there is no room for that, like you would have seen at...

Guesthouse Olga really feels like staying in someone's house. The charming, bright red house is easy to spot and it's conveniently located in the centre of town. We were sent an email reminder of our reservation the day before arriving with instructions on letting ourselves in. The friendly proprietor met us soon after settling in and gave us some great...

We arrived later than planned due to weather, but the host came over right away and checked us in with great hospitality. We had been hosteling, so this was a step up and it was nice to have such a well appointed room (bathrobes, towels, refrigerator and tv all in room). The bathrooms are spotless and the small kitchen well...

We had to make an unplanned stop in Egilsstadir due to weather conditions and were amazed by hospitality of the host. The Guesthouse is in immaculate state, the rooms are spacious and it is equipped with everything you might need on a night you get snowed in :) Thank you.

We spend here one night and really liked it. Warm welcome, place was nice, tidy and clean, the rooms have a small fridge and table, and there were towels and bathrobes to use. There is a kitchen for guests use, so we cooked our dinner. The breakfast are left in the fridge with the room number so you can get...

We have gotten used to expecting the minimum in most of the accommodation here, so we were happy to find things like coffee and tea and milk and bathrobes supplied in our very nice room. I think we had the biggest room and the only one with a toilet in it though. It's in the bottom of the house with...
