Comfortable accommodation, well appointed with, as mentioned warmed floors ! The site has camping and caravan accommodation, so perhaps could be very busy in season. Well sited for walking locally, with lots of well marked paths, especially up to extinct calder : and around the Lake. Pizzeria on site (average) : linked restaurant over the road good for breakfast and excellent evening meals,

The place is so nice, well equipped, friendly and calm atmosphere, great location near the lake, a supermarket and gas station at 5min drive ! Staff members are very nice, the kitchen, living room and bathroom are really great to cook your dinner and relax after long days in the area ! Not expensive for Iceland and for this quality, I definitely recommend :) There's a discount on the attached pizzeria for people staying here, still a bit expensive though.

· Updated but simple. Liked how the toilet and shower are separate. Warmed floors in shower and toilet areas. My room had its own sink. Has shoes off policy. Extremely comfortable bed. Crisp white sheets. Very helpful front desk in the morning. All rooms on the ground floor. It was located right in the middle of a camping ground and pizza parlor! The location itself serves its purpose in the Myvatn area. It was one of the more expensive places where I have stayed during my 19 day trip. The pillowcase was dingy...didn’t quite match with the sheets. My outgoing mail WiFi didn’t work although could receive messages.

I didn't know what to expect from a place labeled a Travel Service that offers camping, but it was the only vacancy I could find. We were pleasantly surprised that our room, though small, was clean and comfortable. Two facing shower doors fold inward, making the bathroom much roomier. Towels and WASH CLOTHS are a playful lime green. We had the use of the communal kitchen, where we could refreeze our ice packs. Our rooms at the end open onto an inviting deck. Campers are not allowed in the lodging building or the kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful. They charge in Euros, which threw us for a minute trying to figure out the bill. It's located right on the highway around Lake Myvatn, so was very convenient. Pizza is available onsite and breakfast (not included) is in a cafe across the highway. I would definitely stay here again.
