We stayed here for one night and were most impressed
Spotless throughout
The room we had was 323 Top floor, corner with a magnificent view of the rocks and a monastery
Did a 4 hour sunset tour and then a 4 hour morning tour. Both very different
The best way to see Meteora
The hotel room was well appointed. Again, fresh and clean
Reception very helpful
Short walk to the centre of town with so many great eateries

Hotel was arranged by Key Tours as part of our 2D1N Delphi Meteora Tour. It was decent for just 1 night, don't expect too much and you'd be good. Food was OK. Hotel is located walking distances to shops in Kalambaka Town, and we could see some monasteries afar from the outside.

Room is spacious, bed and shower are good. The hotel is a little bit far from dining options and souvenir shops. I was in a tour group and we had a good dinner. Breakfast also was good. The wi-fi is very bad.

We stayed here as part of a Key Tours 2 Day/1N tour to Delphi and Meteora. Looking at our trip to Greece as a whole, we stayed in 2 star places that were better than this hotel. Wifi was terrible, and the food on offer was well below standard. It was noisy, with school groups and other bus tour groups staying there as well. Staff were also unhelpful. It was hard to watch a elderly lady being treated impatiently when asking for help with the wifi codes. We understand that tourism is big business here, but please remember that impressions are quickly formed via customer service. 2 stars were given for location of the hotel, being walking distance into town, and view of the Monasteries.

Visited the area on a business trip. Very happy with this hotel, clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly, helpful and always willing to do the extra mile for us. Best value for money on our short stay

I stayed with my family (two children), we were very satisfied with the staff the boss was very kind. The hotel was clean with an extraordinary view of Meteora and we will probably come again. It has a big swimming pool and it's in the center of the city which made our stay be better than we were waiting for! Thanks for all you services.

We stay at new renovated rooms with all the required options. There were very good services and they offer a very good breakfast. The price was very good for the total experience of our stay. It is easy to park. We could stay again in a future visit.

We had to visit some friends in Trikkala, but the totality of the Hotels were booked, due to some local event! So we decided to move f/ward to Kalambaca. We had chosen this Hotel (ORFEAS) at random, due to the inserted foto and a nice comment from a US couple!
It was-indeed- a cozy Hotel, very nice entrance, very nice lounge and reception! But what did make the point was the MAGNIFICENT and clear POOL! (palm trees around!)
Room was at average level, small-but complete bathroom, equiped with all necessary items, but not at a luxurious appearance; but what the heck! You don't usually pay a fee of 60euros for a double bed, TV, a/c and a lovely pool, having the opportunity to admire Meteora and drink a coffee (or eat) at the beautiful city square, viewing the giant rocks of a gigantic teeth form, the equivalent of which one can encounter in Northern Italy, at Trentino, especially on the Cortina D'Ampezzo countryside!!! So fine; yes!
To us, greek citizens, that price is very convenient, contesting it to the very high prices all over Greece, at least 80% of places!
Corollary: Go there and meet a powerful nature, combined with myths and legends!

Yours: John and Floritta.

I was in this hotel for a single night at the beginning of September, with my husband.
Style: modern large entrance, with marble on the floor. Gives you the impression of space and cleanliness.
Location: very good. At the beginning of the road to Meteoras, but out of the bustling streets of Kalambaka. Few minutes walking from main street with restaurants, souvenir shops, post offices, banks, etc. The hotel has its free car park.
Rooms: Very big and clean, quite modern. fully air conditioned, but the conditioning at maximum level may be a bit noisy. Furniture is essential (wardrobe, armchair, writing table, chair) but nice. Bathroom is a bit small: with bath tub and hair dryer. However is clean.
Food: Very good choice at breakfast. Enjoyed also a very good buffet dinner for €13 per person, not including beverages. The buffet had a wide choice of food and it was good quality.
Staff: very nice and helpful. Italian speaking ( a rarity!).
The good: new building and price, and a marvellous outdoor swimming-pool: a blessing in the hot Greek summer, after you climb up and down Meteoras monasteries.
The bad: Small bathroom.
The best: big rooms and some of them with breathtaking view of Meteoras (ask when you book, rooms with view have the same price as other rooms)
Price: € 60 per night for a double room
Final advice and tips: My short staying was excellent. Definitely I would go back for a longer stay, thanks to the very good treatment and niceness of the staff.

We booked this hotel by e-mail by contacting the hotel directly. It was everything we hoped for and more. We had a triple with a balcony overlooking the pool in the newest section of the hotel. The room was very nice and comfortable. The pool was lovely and had plenty of lounge chairs around it although a bit more shade would have been nice. There is a bar near the pool.

Breakfast was a nice buffet and could be taken outside overlooking the pool or indoors.

The location is convenient to town and to the sites of Meteora, but away from all the noise.of the town. We were glad that we had chosen this hotel and not one of the others found more often on internet booking sites because the others were all on the main street and would have been noisy.

We highly recommend this hotel!
