A family of 4, we keep coming back to Castello! It is our retreat ! Great aesthetics and style, superb staff, excellent beach, chilled out atmosphere, great drinks at the pool bar, heavenly COCOMAT mattresses and pillows, yummy breakfast and food with daily, fresh ingredients(the pizza at the pool bar had home made dough) . An amazing hotel made from stone, the rooms are very specious, providing every luxury possible. Situated in front of the sea, including a pool, its worth visiting either with family or for a romantic escape. The staff are very professional and polite. Vale parking available. And the food is yummy, with decent prices.

We visited this beautiful hotel on Mavrovouni beach for 3 days. This beach area is known as one of the best in Greece. We were not disappointed at all! Our hotel accommodations were marvelous, as was the amazing beach! Clean and scenic with incredible blue hues. Water was refreshing and crystal clear. We stayed for a couple of nights in this hotel. It was great value; the staff were extremely friendly, and it was very comfortable. The buildings are built in Mani stone and are obviously well designed, very cute and thoughtful. It is situated on a good beach, although as others have noted it can be quite windy. There is a...

The rooms were designed in local "old time style". Beds were superb and the air in the room was fresh and great. The beach was...

The room - in traditional Mani style, stone, wood, neutral colours, spacious and airy with a high ceiling and many windows. Very relaxing and tasteful. Also a small balcony with a table and chairs, arranged so that it didn't overlook its neighbours. Food - home made, delicious jams at breakfast, lovely dinners with wine from the hotel's vineyard. So peaceful...

Clean, simply decorated hotel in a gorgeous location on a beautiful sandy beach, 5 mins drive from Gythio. Our room had a balcony and seaviews and was very comfortable. The service, in particular Chrisanthi on reception, was exceptional. We enjoyed the breakfast with the lovely selection of homemade jams. What a nice surprise to be given a bottle of wine...

Very nice hotel with Mani style houses, pool, lawn next to the long sandy beach of Mavromouni. We stayed in room no 201 adjacent to reception area. Houses are arranged in staggered form so that balconies have no direct neighbours and face north-east to give rest from the sun enjoyed at the pool or beach. The room and bathroom are...

Hidden paradise, the hotel is the cleanest ever, protecting nature and the nearby see turtles. Although windy at times (very good windsurfing spot), you won't see a single piece of thrash flying around. Every effort has been taken to make this place a fantastic experience for the guests. Hats off to the owner Dimitris and staff. If all young entrepreneurs...
