We drove from the UK @ 6am and arrived at 1am parking in the basement... beware the car park is on 2 floors .. floor 1 is ok but the basement is a scrape hazard for anything bigger than a medium sized car. They would not let my mate park his freelander in the car park even thought they had...

Good hotel in an excellent location. The staff were polite & helpful. The rooms are spacious & clean & there's always hot water. The spa is pleasant although, predictably gets busy in the early evening. Swimming caps are not required for the jacuzzi or sauna. The food was quite bland although there was a wide choice so always something to...

Having travelled and skied in many resorts across Europe this hotel rates pretty high up in the not 'overpriced' market. The staff were attentive, polite and very friendly and generally the hotel was in very good condition for the bashing it takes from seasons of abuse by skiers and boarders alike. I stayed as part of a group of 15...

Stayed here 13th-20th January having stayed in the Himalaia in Soldeu couple of years back, the hotel is practically identical. Ignore comments about the decor, it is clean and fresh and well decorated thoughout and very very clean, the cleaners visit daily and are very thorough, even folding up our clothes etc. The bar/lounge area is fairly large, has plush...

ok, so we booked very last minute for NYE week which left us with very little choice therefore we plumped for Himalaia over Magic because of the Spa. The hotel is at the the top of the village which when carrying 4 pieces of luggage from where the Novatel bus drops you off is quite an effort!! never the less,...

Just came back from here for a weeks stay over New Year and we loved it! We had a balcony room over-looking the street which we loved but can be a little noisy at night! We didnt mind as we were coming in late ourselves but if you are a family you might want to move to the back of...

Quadruple room is spacious and suitable for four with four comfy beds, even if the third one is a sofa bed and the fourth one is an additional bed. In reference to another comments we must say our room was not shabby. Room temperature was fine. Ski lockers are functional but spooky. Spa area didn't always work and, as usual...

The best things about the Himalaia Pas are the staff (friendly and helpful) and the location close to the slopes (about 2 minutes walk). The worst thing is the dated and tired look of the place. It needs a cosmetic upgrade. Sponged orange and yellow walls and polystyrene ceiling tiles may have been fashionable in the 1980's but the hotel...

Hotel Himalaia has to be the best in Pas. From what we gathered the cost was not the limiting factor on anyone choosing it; it was simply availability. Room: Fine room. Well made up and always warm enough (with your own control of the heating but never dropping below "relatively hot"). Enough storage and space for all ski equipment to...

The 1st room we were given was too small for 3 adults but even though the hotel was fully booked for Christmas they found us another bigger room within 20 minutes. It is a very warm hotel but you can turn the heating down or off in the rooms. The ski locker area in the basement is heated but a...
