Travelers to Lake Atitlán, this is the place to enjoy peace, spectacular lake and volcanoes views. We stayed as two families and feel relaxed, enjoy breakfasts with bread fresh baked bread. The house is big enough but a real cozy place. You can visit the surrounding areas or just relax at the pool. This is a pool with a view!...

If you are looking for a beautiful residence overlooking Lake Atitlan, I would highly recommend considering La Casa Colibri. The owner, David, and his staff were fantastic to work with from beginning to end. I had endless emails about different subjects before we arrived, and both David and his concierge, Rocio, were always very quick to respond. The house is...

We visited Casa Colibri as a mix of a friend reunion + family vacation and it was the most perfect venue. There are gorgeous common areas-- the pool, the sauna, the patio overlooking the lake, the living room, game room, but there are also rooms for privacy. Each bedroom was beautifully decorated and unique-- all with great views of the...

We were a group of eight co-workers, who traveled to Lake Atitlan in January, 2015, to visit a couple of the organic coffee farmers in the area. The house was perfect for the eight of us - cozy, yet spacious, with plenty of room to stretch out, play ping-pong, sit on the patio, take a dip in the infinity pool...

This house is just incredible. Everything in it was clearly selected and designed with care and attention to detail, and it's also just incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed the pool immensely, as well as the temescal (a kind of Mayan-style sauna). For the number of bedrooms and the sheer beauty and elegance ofthe place, the price is an incredible deal. This...

Two families (5 adults, 5 kids under the age of 8) traveled to Casa Colibri in March of 2016. We were recommended to Colibri by a friend and the house and staff exceeded our already high expectations. Whether you're visiting Atitlan to relax or explore, Casa Colibri could be a great fit. You are within an easy drive of Panajachel...

La Casa Colibri was absolutely stunning with absolutely breathtaking views but it was the staff that really impressed us! It truly was a week in paradise for myself and my family... all of our needs tended to and the meals some of the best food I have ever had.

This house/property is fantastic! The photos and description do not do it justice. Not only is it a beautiful home with phenomenal scenery, but the staff are bar none the best I have encountered while renting homes in Central America. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This beautiful property is like a luxury villa you would see featured in a magazine. The views are simply breathtaking. The home is very comfortable, with spacious, private bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, and a wonderful family room with space for everyone. Modern amenities (HBO, and no shortage of electrical sockets for your gadgets!) complement the serenity and rural locale. The...

Casa Colibri is so much more than a vacation rental. It's a bit of luxurious paradise. First, in this part of the world, there isn't a big distinction between indoors and out, as the house is open (a tree grows through the circular stairwell). With amazing weather, even during the rainy season, you wouldn't want it any other way. And...

“4 of 5 bedrooms have a view of the lake...2 have japanese soaking tubs and 1 also has a fireplace. If you are bothered by sunrise affecting your sleep, choose the room tucked away as it is secluded and darker. All the private verandas are just that..no peeking from veranda to veranda!”
