In Durbar Square. Aside from staying in a beautiful and ancient architectural building, the staff are the warmest and most accommodating. The Inn is very clean and the rooms are so unique. Despite the Winter cold, the owner insured that the room remained warm by placing an electric heater in it along with an electric blanket. I love the Inn Patan and will hopefully return again some day.

Lovely stay here - staff was attentive and welcoming and everything about the location was extremely thoughtful and intentional. It was wonderful to sit in the courtyard and chat with the owners about the rich history of this location.

Venu location smack dab in the middle of a happening area - but due to the inn being set back in an alley, once you enter the courtyard, its as if the busy, bustling world outside melts away, and you enter into a serenely calm environment. totally the best of both worlds! Walk a few steps outside and you're in the middle of shops, great restaurants, and so many wonderful people to go chat with.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Inn for nearly two weeks of my one month of travel in Nepal. I was traveling with a group of college students and professors from Northeastern University. After only one night there it quickly became our home away from home!
I stayed in Room 2 and spent most of my time sitting in my windowsill and enjoying the view of the courtyard. The bedroom and bathroom were cozy, comfortable, and clean. The real charm of the Inn however is the incredible staff! We were tremendously cared for throughout our stay, with constant attention to our needs (and some we didn't even know we had). There was always new drinking water in the room and (optional) daily room cleanings.
I also highly recommend dining at the Inn! Of course you have to sample the classic Nepali Thali and the momos (chicken or veg!), but the chicken pita and pesto pasta can't be missed. I truly loved staying here!

We could not have been more pleased with our choice of this hotel. The building was even more beautiful than the photos and room 1 even had it’s own private balcony. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful making us feel very comfortable. There was flexibility around breakfast and cleaning our rooms. The bed was firm and comfortable with cotton sheets, duvet and electric blanket. We also had heaters in our rooms and the staff quickly found adapters for our electric equipment. We ate there most evenings and the food was good. The location was great for site seeing. I would highly recommend The Inn Patan.

The Inn Patan has a special charm that’s impossible to forget. The design with traditional touches was really interesting to see and it’s clear lots of local artisans made it possible. Equally though I was surprised by the modern comfort which honestly is a bit hard to find in this area. Basically inside of Durbar Square it’s got a great location and the staff couldn’t be nicer- I don’t think I’ve ever felt this safe in a hotel before. Thank you to the Inn Patan for making my visit so special.

My stay at The Inn Patan was a short but delightful one. The host, Buddha was an amazing host and makes an excellent conversationalist. The room i stayed in at The Inn was spacious and super comfortable with the kind of beds and pillows that will lull you into dreamland almost instantly.

The entire place is very well maintained. I love the fact that it has the unique brick build with light but significant touches of local culture

Their food was delicious too. I enjoyed most of my food and drinks served up there. The only improvement i would suggest is to have more breakfast options. Will certainly repeat my stay!

The Inn Patan has stunning traditional Nepalese architecture that is authentic, comfortable, and has all the amenities you might need from very fast, reliable wifi, to hot water, electricity with every type of plug imaginable, laundry services, breakfasts, lunches, and so much more. The Inn is also 2 minutes away from the famous Patan Durbar Square, and there are hundreds of temples and religious sites to visit, and wonderful markets so very close by in this safe welcoming neighborhood.

While the building, and facilities are so special the best part of the Inn is the staff, who are the most friendly, kind, compassionate, people that will move mountains to make your staff as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They quickly feel like a warm, respectful Nepalese family to travels giving recommendations of sites to visit, restaurant recommendations, calling taxi's, helping with money exchange and making a great cup of coffee or tea whenever you need it.

I cannot recommend the Inn Patan highly enough and hope everyone gets to experience this finest example of Patan hospitality.

I stayed 3 nights at The Inn. It was very nice rooms and location. Patan is a beautiful place to visit when you are in Kathmandu for a few days. But i do not mean it is 90 dollars worth. There was nothing speciel about The Inn, for example regarding to the service - on the day of my arrival i was not received with a cup of tea or anything, they were not very aware of me checking in. There was also no cleaning in my room during the 3 days, neither were the water bottles replaced during the stay. On my last day going to Thamel, they couldn't help me with getting a taxi, and i was standing on the road for half an hour trying to get a taxi myself. I normally not expect things like this in other accommodations, but when you pay 90 dollars per night, i think that it is in its place.

Other than that it was a pleasant experience :D

The Inn Patan was a perfect place to stay in Kathmandu. The location is perfect if you are interested in being basically in Durbar Square. The rooms were simply yet contained everything you would need and the interior decor was beautiful. The restaurant on site was phenomenal, I recommend you try the paneer sandwich, hot and sour soup and momos. Buddha was an excellent host and was readily available for any questions or suggestions. The rest of the staff from the servers to the housekeeping showed up with smiles daily and made us feel like we were in an old friend's home. I felt very safe in the location as well. Thank you Buddha for a wonderful stay, I will return!

The Inn Patan was fantastic! This was my sister's second time staying and my first. The location is fantastic and the Inn was so quiet even though it was located just off the busy streets near. Patan Durbar square. The staff were really helpful, and the accomodations excellent. What a beautiful building! Great coffee and restaurant too. Would love to stay again!
