I found the hotel to be homely and the service was amazing. Staff are very courteous. Good location quiet and easily accessible. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was standard but amazing. Market day every Sunday which is very entertaining.

Don't expect luxurious lobby or rooms from this hotel but you will get what the five stars doesn't offer. The room has a nice view and it is located in a nice location. The staffs are also very supportive. The breakfast is good (might not be enough though). The big trees in the premise also help smooth up the atmosphere.

We stayed here for 2 nights end Oct/Nov 2016 and found the rooms with attached shower very clean. The reception, especially Salim, was very helpful, including airport taxi arrangements. The breakfast/brunch (no evening meals) must be the best around as non-residents also love to come for this. Outside patio eating is very pretty with lots of flowers and trees. The...

We were booked in for 3 nights as we had business in the area. It is not cheap so I expected much better. This seems to be a popular expat hotel especially for the breakfast/brunch. I have to say the breakfast was brilliant and if you're in the area well worth a visit. We were there on a Sunday so...

Fantastic food, good coffee, lovely outdoor dining atmosphere. Best quality brunch I've found yet -- everything was delicious. Definitely a place I'll bring visiting friends to dispel the impression that living in Kathmandu is any hardship!

This is my favorite place for breakfast in the weekend. The quiet patio is a welcomed break from crowded and noisy Katmandu. The food is really nice, I especially like the croissants and cheese. I consider going there my little luxury though, this is not the cheapest place in town!

Helpful with site seeing with local news and distractions with health and safety advise -- even got my phone charged! Excellent place to stay if you enjoy...

The yellow house has nice rooms and 24 hour power, wifi and has friendly helpful staff all for a very reasonable tariff. What makes the yellow house stand out however, is the breakfast. Great menu - fresh ingredients - all prepared to order and served quickly. Lovely way to start the day. The yellow house also hosts a sort of...
