About 15 mins walk from Patan Durbar Square. Rooms are clean with high ceiling and high glass window. Bed and pillows are of five star quality. Hotel has a cozy bar but restaurant food is just about average.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This is a wonderful hotel for a stopover in Nepal. They provide excellent service. The rooms are a bit outdated but very clean. The gardens relaxing and the food offerings to suit anyone.

It is convent to various areas such as Thamel shopping and the airport. The food is good and the service is OK. It is pricy for what you get and they are slow to correct problems, but the do follow through. Forget about getting anything done after the manager leaves for the day as the staff just tells you "it...

We stayed here for three night and used this place to explore Kathmandu and Kathmandu Valley. It takes about 30 min to get to durbar square kathmandu, bakthipur, pashupatinath, ... It is a 30 min walk to get to durbar square pathan. So, location is quite good. We had an executive room: spacious, relatively clean and comfortable. Although, you have...

My room was on the fourth floor, with a wonderful view over the spacious gardens & two pools. There are also great views of the city, with mountains in the background. I only...

The service was very good and I could tell the staff really wanted us to have a nice stay. The ladies who cleaned our room were very friendly. Our room was in good shape and clean. Location is good and it was easy to get to restaurants and in to Tamel. The buffet was great with lots of variations and...

The location is very peaceful away from the congested and noisy centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast and lunch both good. Large comfortable room. Bathroom a bit dated but good by Kathmandu standards. Very reasonable price.

I have stayed here for more than 10 times now. Great Hotel, Nice staff. The rooms are spacious and mountain side room have view of the mountains. The staff here is courteous. The rooms are not exactly located on the road, hence very quiet and peaceful. No honking sound or anything similiar.

I haven't had the chance to stay here and have been here only for meals. This is such a great place for good food and conversations. Extremely helpful staff as well. We always end up going here because my grandmother loves fish and chips and Hotel Himalaya definitely has the best fish and chips, hands down.

The room is quite spacious. There is bathtub and hot water. Toothbrush has to be asked to receive. There is air condition but the control is only for low-middle-high. It is quite warm when I visit but I'm quite worried for winter. I dined for both dinner and breakfast. The recommended Nepal food is not as good as I expected....
