Basic room, but good value for the price. Hot water. Helpful owner. What spoilt it all was that every morning I woke up between 5 and 6 because it was so incredibly noisy, ear plugs didn't help. Somebody seemed to be knocking on the walls or floor above, there were loud steps etc. I wish people there could be quieter....

I stayed at this guest house with a friend for one night - it's very basic, no hot water, and when we were heading out for dinner at 7 we were told we had to be back by 8 as they were going to lock the entrance! Don't stay here.

Stayed one night here in a double bed room. It was well equipped with hot showers and weak WiFi. There is fan built in the guest house, the room design is abit old though. Still can stay for a night of 2. The owner is friendly and always been helpful. Need a renovation maybe to keep up with the competitiors....

We'd booked two nights at the guesthouse, but ended up only staying one night. The room was very small - it looked like it originally was a single room where an extra bed was shoved in. The room smelled wierd, and the bathroom smelled like gas, because of the gaspowered waterheater. This made it unpleasent to be in the room,...

The rooms of the hotel were ok-clean, but very dark and during winter time incredibly cold. A circumstance that didn't make it better, that there wasn't any hot water. Besides that the hotel personnel is quite rude and discriminating against nepalis. In a similar price category (a bit cheaper) is the mahabuddha guest house just around the corner. It has...

I stayed or 700npr a night in a room with two single beds. Though I couldn't get the hot water to work, the room was clean and the owners were responsive and non-judgmental about my late arrivals home after events at the festival nearby. It was not noisy at night, and the wifi worked well. Barely ten minutes walk to...

We stayed 3 nights in this hostel, the room was big and clean, with hot water!!! The localisation is perfect and not noisy! The owner is nice and helpful. We just had some little problems with our laundry... I definitely recommend this place, and Patan is beautiful!

Mixed bag, this one. We paid 700 Rupees for a room with working tv and barely functioning (but free) wi-fi. Woke up the first night due to two factors - the overabundance of mosquitoes (caused by a rather big hole in our bathroom - after we plugged this with various plastic bags, the problem was hardly as big) and the...

It was not luxurious but everything that i need were there. Because i stayed longer i can buy some local vegetables from two minutes...

“Don't pick a room next to the stair case - it's very noise and all the sounds from the stairs and other rooms penetrate your room easily.”
Snapopoulos, 15 Jul 2014 | Read review
“make sure to have a look at the rooms first. whichever you choose it'll be noisy as most of the noise comes from within the building as opposed to outside noise.”
