A lodge situated in an unbelievably beautiful location, in the morning at sunrise in good weather, you can enjoy the spectacular lighting of the Himalayan peaks. Only the road to the lodge is heavy, but the views are worth the effort. My room was large spacious with windows up the mountain and road.

This is a "faded glory" kind of place. A decent value if you can negotiate a good price, but otherwise quite expensive. Nice view, but worth asking if a big tour group is coming in that night, as the noise might ruin the atmosphere you are looking for. Note that the even bigger hotel just down the road also caters...

The place itself could use with a bit of cleaning. An old dusty piano in the common area and books covered in white dust. The room itself is a spartan with small beds and NO HEATING. The hotel owner, an older guy in his late sixties, hovers around dinner and breakfast times staring at the young women guests. Starry and...

Stopped for one night at this lodge after trekking two days from Chisapani to Nagarkot through part of the wonderful Himalayas. Arrived dusty, dirty, very sweaty and in need of a little bit of luxury like a hot shower and electricity. We had neither in our room. Allegedly, we had been booked in to the main lodge, however a large...

I stayed here on day 2 of a 3 day trek around Kathmandu valley. We arrived exhausted, staff were welcoming and brought us sweet tea to revive us! Rooms are basic and dated but clean and comfortable. They also have hot water in the bathroom which is a complete luxury after staying in a few other tea houses! Room was...

99% of visitors to Nagarkot (all hotels) come in the afternoon, have dinner, go to bed, wake up at 5am in the hope of seeing the Himalayas, then bugger off before 8am. We were the 1% that stayed an extra night to enjoy the area. Nagarkot has a lovely hike that I recommend, otherwise this hotel really spoiled our stay....

We came here by car with our guide and immediately enjoyed the view from the terrace. A nice tee was served as a warm welcome. After our stay we walked down 2 1/2 hours and were picked up by the driver, that was perfect, as we saw the villages and it was not too long to walk. We were very...

I decide to stay at this hotel over a night with my wife. It was hidden a bit but once I got there I found the staff were kind and polite. they show me the room which was beautiful and clean too. I was a bit disappointed at the dinner time because the electricity was broken down but they managed...

Been here with some friends. Our flat had no electricity back up but other flats did. They didn't even provide candles. Dinner was not so good. It was even worst for my vegetarian friends. The breakfast was ok. The service and price just doesn't match up here.
