very nice location set just above the river in Strathtay. very friendly welcome, comfortable and very clean room and warm as the temperature outside was below freezing. Facilities were very good with a tv room and lounge where tea, coffee and biscuits were freely available. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice on offer and the cooked breakfast was excellent.... More

We made reservations for Bendarroch House online thinking it was in Pitlochry. It's actually about 10 miles past in Strathtay. Without an address, GPS was useless. Fortunately, we were able to find it by asking at the Pitlochry Visitors Center and by reaching someone the B&B for specific directions. It's a lovely old property with quirky rooms. Ours had 2... Four ladies popped in here for the night after enchanted forest. We were given a warm welcome, a lovely comfortable bed and breakfast. we settled in the lounge for a chat. The place dates back to the 1800 and the house itself is an impressive sight. It's located a stones throw from the Highland choclateir and the inn on the... More

We arrived in the evening (parking in front of the house no problem), were greeted with a very friendly smile and introduced to the place - shown the lovely and spacious common rooms etc. Upon entering our room, I couldn't suppress a "Wow". The house and the huge gardens - both in a very well kept state - seem to... More

Very quaint, old fashioned B&B with some lovely features & contents. Rooms were spacious, with lovely views, however the bedding was damp & the B&B not that warm when we arrived. Sitting in the valley next to the Tay & at this time of year it would have been nice to have had the chill / dampness taken off. We... More

The Bendarroch House was beautiful! The rooms spacious and bed so comfortable. Delicious breakfast, convenient to Pitlochry without the hustle and bustle. Easy walk to the Inn on the Tay for an amazing supper. The hosts were very helpful on all accounts. Highly recommend!

I've read the other reviews and I can see how it can be taken either way. I for one loved it. I had the single room with little bay window and trees outside. It was clean and comfortable with a big old bed that reminded me of going home to mum's. The room was very spacious compared to many single... More
