Food is superb! The service is excellent and the staffs are very accommodating. Every spot is IG worthy!! 😍 Overall it was indeed a home away from home, we truly had an amazing stay here. The place is fantastic, perhaps the only resoet in anilao that has a pool for kids, non-swimmers and divers. We’ve been here twice already nut the only negative aide of the resort is the food. Buffet breakfast is ordinary for a high price stay. The cook is very slow in preparation, it took almost an hour to wait for your food to be given.

When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was that it is a great resort in Anilao. Upon arriving, we were amazed at the instantly amazed by the view. We booked the cluster room since we were 8 and the rooms at Awari bay can be a bit pricey. It was at the top so we climbed A LOT of stairs just to go up to our room. It was okay for us since we chose that room but the only downside to that is, there were no basic amenity inside the room. No fridge, no heater, no table. If we wanted coffee in the early morning, before the coffee could reach us, it would already be cold! We were far from the restaurant and it would be convenient if there are basic amenities inside the room for both the hotel staff and our convenience! NEXT THING! THE RESTAURANT IS HORROR. WE WERE ONLY TWO FAMILIES EATING IN THE RESTAURANT BUT THEY STILL MANAGED TO GET US TO WAIT 45 MINUTES FOR OUR FOOD. IMAGINE WAITING 45 MINUTES? WHAT IF THE RESTAURANT WAS PACKED? THE DINERS WOULD WAIT 1-2HOURS JUST FOR FOOD? WE WERE STARVING! THEIR SERVINGS WERE PRETTY SMALL FOR SUCH PRICE. IN THE MORNING BUFFET, THE WATERMELON WAS SPOILED. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT? POOOOOR POOOOR RESTAURANT. Although I've got to say, we enjoyed swimming in the pool.

I was tired of going to substandard resorts in Anilao everytime I dive so I went here. I got the bayfront suite room. PROS: 1. Decent resort (yaaaaaay!) 2. Room service 3. Beside the beach 4. They have a restaurant where you can order food 5. Cost is almost the same as some of the lousy resorts in Anilao 6. They have scuba diving 7. Clothes stand for hanging wet wear provided per room 8. They have a swimming pool 9. Nice beach view 10. Very quiet place 11. The driveway going to the drop-off point and parking is by far the most decent I have seen 12. Water sports available CONS: 1. It's not really a 5-star resort but it's Anilao so I guess for that place this is really good 2. The restaurant food is average only 3. Their beach is not sandy but stony...be careful when walking on slippers 4. The service is just ok 5. Not the place for inconsiderate people who want to make lots of noise 6. The guests somehow end up driving the jetski over the diving sites which is a BIG NO...always remember that these vehicles should be 200 meters away from diving buoys.

Spent the weekend with family in Awari. PRO's - pool is kid friendly - great view of the ocean - wide selection of dishes - free use of kayak CON's - water in the room is salty (hard water), kids did not like it especially for brushing teeth - no ref in the room - Housekeeping is on a as-needed basis. Daily room cleaning was not conducted, had to request for toilet paper, etc. - service in the restaurant is slow - check in policy is too strict Due to the limited facilities and services, I would not recommend this resort, or Anilao for that matter, unless you will be venturing into snorkeling/diving which is what the place is known for.
