During the past 15 years, we have stayed at several Arizona guest ranches. This was our first trip to STGR and we spent four nights at the ranch and had a good time. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. The hot tub is hot. The food is okay (not so big on veggies and overly sugared) and...

A very warm welcome received from JP, Trish and family. My first visit to the US and to a guest ranch. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The accommodation is spacious and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The food is absolutely amazing (Thanks Randy) The grounds, pool and hot tub are all well maintained (Thanks April)....

A very warm welcome. The owners and staff were all particularly helpful and friendly. Accommodation comfortable, spacious and clean. Food plentiful and well-cooked. The wranglers were patient and encouraging with not-very-experienced riders like myself, as well as offering more challenging rides for other guests who were more confident in the saddle. It was rather quiet while I was there -...

Just loved it! We didn't have the best weather with abnormal rain but that didn't stop JP, Trish and all the gang in helping us to enjoy ourselves. Met some great people from USA and abroad and would not even consider anywhere else to go horse riding in the USA. Just want to get back here! Anyone trying to decide...

I have visited many guest ranches over the course of the last 25 years and have even been a wrangler at a few, but had never before visited STGR. My primary interest is an outstanding riding experience, though the accommodations, food, and overall appearance of the ranch are important as well. I did not know what to expect despite consistently...

Amazing! The staff are lovely and you feel welcomed into their family. You ride morning and evening for around 1:30-2:30 hours and the wranglers helped us to walk, trot and canter (loping). We had no/little experience with horses before the trip and felt so comfortable afterwards. The food is amazing and everyone eats together - love that a bell is...

Thank you for the wonderful review, you are so very kind. You will be happy to know that we now have a liquor license and have a full bar in the Lodge and sell alcohol in the dinning room. We hope to see you again in the future. Happy Trails!

Only stayed 3 nights but wish we could have stayed longer, JP & Trish make everyone feel at home and there is lots to do and the food was lovely. We had one evening chatting round the fire and being shown how to rope a steer. and a wagon ride another evening. Hope to return!

Had an amazing time at STGR. JP and Trish were amazing hosts, they didn't act like owners as they got involved and spoke to everyone like we were all long time friends. I stayed for 6 nights and wish I had stayed longer. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The horses are well looked after (and I should know...

Wonderful hosts that tried to cater to our needs. Provided gluten free items. Food was delicious and homemade - even the pizza! Horses are gentle and well cared for. Various trails to ride and for different skill levels. Room was comfortable. Large bathroom. Ranch is away from city life with a true western atmosphere. Decor is amazing!

We stayed for 3 days and it was the most wonderful experience. The place is just like something out of a film, the food was wonderful, the cabin was beautiful, the whole setting was just perfect. Is expensive but my husband took his own beer and we never spent a penny while we were there, had 3 days of bliss,...
