This is "by far" the worse B&B we had ever stayed in. I expect the comforts & cleanliness of home.(Especially for $152.00 a night) The room is somewhat larger than a walk in closet. No desk, only one bedside table, no microwave or fridge in room (wouldn't have room for them anyway!) The bathroom is very tiny, no way two...

Dear PhyllisWv, Thank you for your comments about your stay. While we will may not meet the comforts you provide for your own guests, we can't get complacent about the cleanliness of our Inn. We haven't had that complaint in nineteen years and will strive to never get a second one. Travelers who frequent B&B's usually find the unique features,...

We read lots of info in TA about hotels in Williams and at the Grand Canyon. Being that we wanted to view what's on and around Arizona Route 66 we decided to stay in Williams. Lots of hotel choices but only the Red Garter peaked our interest - what a great decision. Located in the mid of a thriving robust...

Stayed here a night with my husband while driving Route 66. I loved this place. We stayed in the 'Big gals room' which had its own sitting room. The room was really lovely. A welcoming coffee and pastry from the downstairs bakery was a nice touch. Breakfast was really good, again from the bakery. John was a fabulous host. Would...

Stayed 1 night in room 4. Outstanding service – friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable. Great location in the centre of town, but this did mean we could hear music coming from a nearby bar; the ice machine too and other guests walking up the hall. We weren’t lying awake because of it but we did notice it. Location was convenient too in...

Dear Sydney guest. Thanks for your visit and the kind words about our service. Future guests should note that we are in the center of a vibrant, tourist oriented downtown and surrounded by great restaurants, gift shops, art galleries and yes, a few clubs with live music. Williams is truly a reborn Route 66 roadside attraction. John

We stayed here for the weekend and had a great experience. This is a great preservation of a building built in the 1800s, but they have also appointed the rooms with vintage furniture and decor. It was fun to hear the history of the building and the town from the owner of 30 years. The location really can't be beat...

My husband booked a room here as he planned our route to California, and I am so glad he did! The hospitality was superb. Deborah met us when we arrived in the early evening and was most welcoming. All rooms are on the second floor, and the stairs are narrow and steep! But if you can negotiate that hurdle, your...

Only one night in Williams, on our Route 66 road trip, but we were delighted to have found the Red Garter Inn. Deborah welcomed us a bit before 4 pm, their check in time. (We had arrived at 3 pm, not having read our confirmation letter, and were dismayed that the inn seemed closed, until we read the sign in...

After living in Arizona for years we decided to take our first trip up to Williams. The Red Garter had been recommended to us by friends a few years earlier so we decided to give it a go. We booked two rooms at the Inn, Best Gal's Room and Big Bertha's Room, but as luck would have it there were...

Dear Pink Saguaro, Thanks for the review and the kind words for the building and decor. I certainly don't consider your comments on your treatment by staff as complaining, it is feedback that we need to help in training the " new gal" and to remind ourselves or the importance of hospitality in every aspect of this business. First of all, I stayed in October of 2010...I'm just now getting into reviewing on TripAdvisor and felt that this place deserved to be reviewed. We actually stayed on Halloween and were looking forward to staying in a supposed haunted B&B and even though we saw no ghosts, all other expectations were met and exceeded. The room was comfortable, the...

I just returned from my vacation and stay at the Red Garter Inn Bed & Bakery. I chose the inn after reading the excellent online reviews and have to say I was still very impressed. This is a very quaint inn that has been lovingly restored and is in remarkable condition. We were greeted that evening by a very friendly,...
