We took our kids (8 yr and 1 yr old) to ride on the Polar Express and to take them to see the Grand Canyon. The rooms are cozy and moderately updated. The rooms are fairly easily accessible with more than one entrance to the hotel. They have a cafe and the food is family friendly offering foods for all...

My family spent a weekend here with the intention of riding the Polar Express. I have a 3.5 year old and the hotel was absolutely kid friendly with an indoor pool, family friendly buffet with wide selection, and next to the tracks that the Polar Express begins/ends its journey. The hotel rooms appear to have been renovated recently and are...

We drove from Phoenix the day of our to ride on the "Polar Express". We were wishing for snow and we got it on the last 50 miles to Williams. When we arrived it was a winter wonderland with four inches of snow. I was with four year old grandson, who had never seen snow. When we got off, the...

We stayed here for our family vacation out West to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. It was a perfect spot! The hotel is older from the outside, but the inside is very nice. We had a huge suite and lots of space. We enjoyed the whole package that included the hotel stay, meals and train trip into the canyon, This...

This is a very convenient stop on your way to a Grand Canyon visit. The facility offers spacious and comfortable rooms with buffet dining available. Don't expect the buffet to be Las-Vegas-like but its very much OK and the service staff are pleasant and helpful. We visited Thanksgiving week and there were a lot of people and children there for...

Very nice hotel. We were very comfortable and close to Historic Route 66. Make sure when you eat at the Depot Cafe you hit the Buffets early.. They tend to run out of food. We went for the Polar Express to the North Pole with the grandkids and they had a great time.

We booked a package where we spent 1 night at this hotel, took the train to the Grand Canyon, spent 2 nights at the Grand Canyon (Thunderbird Lodge), took the train back to Williams, AZ, and spent 1 more night at this hotel. This is nice hotel. The room was clean and big enough for my family of 4 (incl....

This was on MY bucket list. Boy- what a great package...hotel, breakfast, dinner, train to the Grand Canyon! We were able to sneak in a short hike down and back up the Bright Angel Trail. The train ride takes 3 hours each way and it was amazingly soothing to travel this way versus by automobile. Alcohol was served on our...

Stayed here as part of the Grand Canyon Railway package. Hotel is clean and well-maintained. All staff on site were extremely friendly. You definitely pay for the convenience of being right at the depot, but no regrets about the money spent.

What a great weekend we had there. Arrived on a Friday and got checked in right away. The room was clean and neat. We got the package so we went to the train cafe for supper. It was ok. Nothing to rave about. Then we got to ride the Train. What a great time we all had in our PJ'S...
