We stayed in the motel. The lodge is close to the Grand Canyon park's entrance. It is clean, attentive service and it primarily serves its purpose (sleep comfortably, shower is nice and close to the park). Prices, however, are a bit high. But more affordable than the rest of the hotels or motels in the area.

the location is perfect, only a few minutes to the rim. The price was expensive, but this is a standard in Tusayan. Fares in nearby Grand Canyon Village are sometimes even more hilarious. Room was OK, could have been cleaner. If you stay there: do not take a room besides the vending machines and the ice machine. We got one...

We had booked to stay for 6 nights, as we couldn't get bookings in Grand Canyon park( you have to book a year ahead). Were greeted rudely upon arrival, given a poor room even though we had booked four months ago , very noisy, the water line broke on our third day, were without facilities for 5 hours, no offer...

Our room was comfortable and clean, and housed our family of five quite well. The location is convenient, as you can either drive or take a shuttle bus to the Grand Canyon. Plenty of restaurants and stores within easy walking distance.

In sales we used to say "You never know how good a company is until there is a problem". When we arrived, the front desk informed us they had a water main break and there would not be any water until the evening. Actually the toilets still functioned because they were on a separate recycled water system. Because of this...

The Red Feather Hotel/Lodge is located on the highway in Tusayan, five minutes from the south entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and about fifteen from the rim itself. Readily visible, we found the hotel no problem for our stay in May 2013. The room we were given was like any other you'd expect in a major chain hotel -...

We spent two nights in the Red Feather. We booked without knowing anything about Tusayan except its proximity to the Grand Canyon. We had not realized that there are two parts to the Red Feather- a modern hotel and beside it, a more ordinary looking old style motel. We were in the motel. It was fine; clean, decent toiletries and...

When we got there check in was a breeze - quick and efficient. the personnel was businesslike not too friendly except cooperative if you needed info or directions. The room itself was clean, not too big (average size). the bathroom was fine although the tub drain did not work properly. Coffee was served most of the day with some fresh...

This nice little lodge is a short drive to the south rim of the grand canyon. Staff were friendly and check in/out simple. Rooms were very tidy and ideal. There is places to eat nearby and generally all you need. Overall a nice place to stay...
