My husband and I recently stayed one night at Red Feather in between visits to Phoenix and Las Vegas. Red Feather was far and away the cheapest option that was relatively close to Grand Canyon National Park. I was slightly skeptical but figured that for one night, it wouldn't really matter too much. And it was totally fine. We were...

Good location (near park entrance, restaurants, few traffic on the road even on August), just like the other motels nearby. Comfortable and clean. We were on the first floor, the rooms were dark, and we heard every step in the room on the 2nd floor, so ask for a room on the second floor (no elevator if you have heavy...

I was researching hotels to stay in for our trip to the Grand Canyon and found this lodge on the internet. It had the most affordable room rates during my research at the time. I was thinking of staying at Williams but then it would've added additional driving time to and from the Grand Canyon. The lodge is situated close...

Good value (for the area), basic hotel a 10 minute drive from Grand Canyon. My 18 year old son & I stayed for three nights to give two full days at the South Rim. Because of the July heat on both days we fled from the rim at noon and enjoyed the air-con at the lodge until 5pm; whereupon we...

We traveled with 2 teens. Stayed in a room with 2 double beds. Perfectly clean. A bit tired looking - but one is not there to hang out. (All go to GC Park). They do have 2 wash machines and dryers. (But highly used so hard to 'get time' at the machines). Still expensive for what it is - but...

In high season (July), the rooms of this complex (hotel-motel) are rapidly depleted (already in January 2013 there were no longer available rooms in motel for the end of July). The fact is understandable, as the value for money of this property, by the standards of Tusayan, is good. We paid (by booking on December 2012) about 330 euro for...

Let's be honest, you won't be spending your entire day in the hotel with the Grand Canyon around the corner. It's not the greatest place to stay, but it is the best value in the town of Tusayan. The rooms are very basic. They're pretty much motel quality rooms, but they come with a small fridge, a working AC/heat unit,...

Easy check-in and friendly service. Room and bathroom/shower were nice and clean. With-in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Very close to park entrance while visiting the Grand Canyon. Only a ten minute drive/about 6 miles, good for getting there for sunset/sunrise.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in early August. I didn't realise I had booked a hotel room in the older part of the place, and it did not have a small fridge, but we made do with crushed ice. The booking in process was very quick and easy, and the staff very efficient. The room was...

Stayed 3 nights on our visit to the Grand Canyon - great base - only 10 minutes drive so you can get up there easily for sunrise, go back for sunset etc. You wouldn't stay here for any other reason as there it not much else - limited eating etc - though decent Mexican restaurant next door and nice local...
