          the campground itself was fine - simple shaded area, picnic table and fire pit but the toilets were not usable. the worse i've seen in any of the campgrounds we've stayed in. won't go back there just because of that.

          I am planning to visit Grand Canyon on Sept, would like to stay a night at Ten-X. This is my 1st time staying at campground. Is the tent being set up or we have to bring our own tent? and is there any free parking and will there be any electricty(charge phones)/water supply?

          You do have to bring your own tent. Free parking is right next to your spot. No electricity or running water..

          The earlier in the day the better and if you can arrive on a weekday, that increases your odds. If the campground is full, the camp hosts can direct you to free dispersed camping on US Forest land. You can then come back the... More
