The prices of everything at the Grand Canyon are way too high so if you can't stay at El TOVAR then get a cheap room because everything in Tusayan is the same. Don't waste your money here thinking will get the second best place to stay. Also, after a three week trip to all of the National Parks in Northern...

My mother and sister in law to be travelled here for a short weekend as I am planning in staying at this hotel for my wedding in June. This hotel is easy to get to as it is the first hotel on the right once you enter Tusyan. Our room was comfy and we were able to get a roll...

This is just a hotel, nothing Grand about it. The hotel was clean and room service was done timely and house keeping did an amazing job. The front desk staff didn't seem to friendly and was very short with the general question on wear you should eat. What we found very negative is that for the price you pay there...

This is a great hotel it's very close to the Grand Canyon. It's decorated like a lodge. There is a nice restaurant and bar located inside. There is also a nice gift shop with all types of goodies even handmade Native American gifts. The restrooms are nice and clean as well.

Booked last minute while driving to the Grand Canyon. Stayed only 1 night as we had a room in the park the following night. Very nice hotel and staff, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the elevator was broken and the restaurant was understaffed. I would stay here again.

The Grand Hotel should actually be named The Absolutely Fine Hotel. What makes it not so Grand? Well, upon arrival, which was around 1pm, the lobby area of the hotel was a mess with food and random trash on the floor and the bathrooms were pretty disgusting in the common area, which was all sort of strange, as it didn't...

The Grand Canyon is an amazing place to see.... Words can not describe it... I know there are hotels that are right on the rim, and I did not stay there but I did visit them... most are older and jammed with tourists. I am more of a private person so staying off the rim with a short ride to...

Fred Harvey, the rags to riches Brit that created the hospitality business at the Grand Canyon, and whose company was purchased by the present operator, Xanterra, might not be pleased. Although the Grand may have eye appeal, it is not much more than a Motel with a large, re-created Western lobby, at a nightly price of about $400. Perhaps it's...

Mid April 2014: Original plan was to camp off of a fire road but Delta switched my sister's bag so she did not have a sleeping bag/tent. We looked on line and booked a room at this hotel for a final total of $115; the other hotels on the strip were closer to $200-300. Not sure if we just got...
