The is a motel set behind the I MAX theater and a Pizza Hut. I guess resort means something different to me. It shows its age and could do with some sprucing up. The hallways have a musty smell. Our room on the 2nd floor was stifling when we walked in. Thankfully the AC worked and it was cool outside...

I enjoyed my stay at the Canyon Plaza Resort. It was conveniently located near the shuttle stop into Grand Canyon NP. The rooms were clean and the beds were okay. The hot tub felt great after a couple of long hikes down into the canyon. Overall a good experience for the price.

Our first impression of the hotel was negative. The lobby had a musty smell and the exterior needed some cleaning. However, we were upgraded to a suite that was not only roomy, but clean. We had the lunch buffet which was horrible. The lettuce was wet and all of the salads were soggy.

We stayed less than 12 hours. Only to sleep before a hike down the canyon. We got there around 9pm, quick check in and comfortable beds. This is probably the 2nd less expensive hotel in Tusayan and I would stay here again.

I picked this hotel because it was very close to the entrance of the South Rim and it delivered. Shuttle to the Rim leaves in front of the hotel so a perfect location for your Grand Canyon visit. Hotel was good, easy check-in and friendly service. Biggest downside is the price and the fact that most restaurants in the area...

I ended up here for a lunch meeting and had the opportunity to sit in the atrium in the courtyard between the rooms. It was a great place to eat as well as a very calming place to be among all the tourist pulls for your attention. It is back from the main road through Tusayan behind the IMAX building....

The hotel is very nice, the room is large and with dividing door that suits best if your baby is sleeping in the other room. The restaurant is good, food for breakfast is ok, nothing that special but nicely cooked, The location is very good for visiting the park and the area. No problems or any issued during the stay.

My parents came to visit US to see their grandson and also spend time to see places. Grand Canyon was on our list. We stayed in this hotel due to the rate and location. Rate was over $200 for Two Queen Standard room which in a tourist area would be considered average. I have issues with the cleanliness as the...

Room was clean and what we expected. However, had trouble adjusting the air, we had to put it up to 80 degrees for the heat to come on and then lower it to a comfortable setting. Had the breakfast buffet and would not recommend it. The pancakes and french toast was not warm enough to melt butter and they advertised...
