My husband and I spent 2 nights in one of the rooms across from the golf course. The accommodation was very nicely appointed with a lovely patio looking over a fountain. At $179.00 a night, I think it might be slightly over priced. However, you...More

We are sorry to hear of the disappointment you encountered during your recent stay with us. I have met with the head of engineering and we are in the process of updating the blinds and making much needed repairs to that room. As...More
Absolutely a waste of time...after walking 2 miles to get to the balloons we had to stand in line for 1 hr and 20 minutes to use the 1 stall BR and had no toilet paper. Luckily we got the last of the paper towels....More
A well deserved relaxing evening at this resort after a busy day. The casitas are wonderful and spacious. Clean and rustic with a Mexican influence. Lots of history in the area. Ask the staff is they have a casita available close by.
I have stayed at Tubac many times over the past several years, and just love the ambiance and style of the resort. This time, however, I was booked into a posada room instead of one of the other room styles, and was disappointed. The posada...More

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at Hotel Bel-Air. I am thrilled to hear our garden oasis was the perfect end to your summer road trip. And how lovely that your LA-based son was able to join you at the hotel. Our staff will be extremely happy to hear your kind words regarding their exceptional service, and of course we love when we are able to make the puppies happy! I am concerned to learn of your disappointment with the grilled cheese sandwich and can assure you this certainly does not reflect the standards we have at Hotel Bel-Air. Please be assured I have followed up with Chef on this to ensure better quality control in the future.
I am pleased you and your family - dogs included - enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you all back again soon.
In general, reponses to negative reviews I have read usually include an apology for the bad experience, some explanation of why it may have occurred, and steps that will be taken to ensure the bad situation is remedied followed by a wish that the client will try them again in future...Hope this helps you!
