70 GTQ/night, private double w/bathroom, 9th – 16th June 2014 Vibe: Apart from the last two nights, it was quite empty whilst there. Although not formally a hostel, it does have a backpacker vibe with lots of open space and hang-out hammocks. Location: 5 minutes from the dock, situated right on the lakeside, it's very central and close to anywhere...

People must be confusing this place with Hotel Maria Elena when rating it anything other 1 star. 100Q paid for a double with private bathroom per night. The shower did not work, the toilet and sink leaked, stunk like raw sewage by the 3rd night. Sheets did not fit the bed at all, we ended up taking the blanket off...

We got a clean double room with private bathroom, hot water, towels, toilet paper and a great view of the lake for only Q60. After travelling in the area for a while now I have to say that we hardly had a better deal. Besides that, staff was really friendly and they even gave us an extra blanket after the...

Our cheapest room in the country-60 Q for private room/bath! The view was nice, the wifi worked in our room (we actually streamed movies), and the terrace was somewhat private and perfect. We didn't end up cooking, but the shared kitchen had enough supplies to entice us to talk about doing so... I agree that it was not a place...

Things are basic here, but are really cheap! I paid 30Q per night for a private room. This was highly welcome after a few days of trekking and I chilled out with a book on the terrace for a few afternoons. Not a particularly sociable place, but if you want a bit of time off of the partying, or are...

I stayed there on December 23rd along with my 8 years old daughter, we paid Q60 per room with private bath, wireless internet, no tv, but for the price, what can you expect? they have a nice view of the lake, is surrounded by many restaurants, If I ever go back there I would definitely stay there again.

If you want a quiet and relaxing night, do NOT stay here. The acoustics of the building are horrible and the place is usually filled with loud partying guests. There was as good as no service except for the owner coming to collect our money. We planned a two-night stay here but left after the first night and got a...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. It is on the lake and if you get a lakeside room you will have a great view. We had a private room with our own bathroom, with windows opening to the lake. There is a spacious balcony and hammocks to relax in. The rooms however are basic - it is...
