This is one of the cheapest hostels we stayed in during our trip. The location is great and the hostel has got some nice lake views. All restaurants are close by! The rooms are just OK, but it can be noisy. Private bathroom is nice. And the kitchen..... well.... just don't use it. Restaurants are cheap in this area!

It would considered one of the best hostels to stay in San Pedro if you are in a budget and you are a couple! The rooms are nice and comfortable! The area is really nice, you also have a kitchen to cook, the situation is also perfect...!!! Would highly recommend!

We crashed here for two nights as we missed the boat to the quieter and more preferred San Marcos. The rooms are very basic but clean, the shower was warm and the rate much cheaper than other rooms in the area. The pots and pans to cook with were left unclean by other backpackers and made us decide to not...

Without being a hostel this place is **enough** for your backpacking needs. The staff wasn't friendly nor rude. You have the option for rooms with private bathroom or the cheapest rooms with shared bathrooms. Be warned that this place is frequented by partying people, if you're looking for a place to sleep well . . . simply avoid it. WC...

I enjoyed my stay here, and really enjoyed the other travellers I met. Be forewarned: The owner doesn't speak English. Service is not great. As long as you pay right away every day for your stay, the owner will leave you alone. The shared bathrooms do not have toilet seats, so it's squatty time. Some rooms have private bathrooms. I...

Nice rooms and nice views from the terrace. You cannot go wrong here for the price and proximity to boat launch. I would recommend! It is on main street where you find all food etc.Owners are nice and acomodating.

Rooms are very basic, mildly clean, no one cleans the trash or anything else. The owner speaks only Spanish and is not very nice man. The moment we checked out he didn't care anymore about us, ignored us completely and wouldn't let us to store our bags even though we had to wait 3 hours for the bus. Very noisy,...

rooms are verk basic and bring your own sheets. But for 70Q it's good value. A lot of people live here so can get noisy.. We moved out after a sleepless night with singing youngsters. Kitchen is dirty but the view from the table is nice

70 GTQ/night, private double w/bathroom, 9th – 16th June 2014 Vibe: Apart from the last two nights, it was quite empty whilst there. Although not formally a hostel, it does have a backpacker vibe with lots of open space and hang-out hammocks. Location: 5 minutes from the dock, situated right on the lakeside, it's very central and close to anywhere...

People must be confusing this place with Hotel Maria Elena when rating it anything other 1 star. 100Q paid for a double with private bathroom per night. The shower did not work, the toilet and sink leaked, stunk like raw sewage by the 3rd night. Sheets did not fit the bed at all, we ended up taking the blanket off...
