What I like: Location: With lake view in my room. Although it is close to the dock, the room has good soundproofing, I don't feel noisy at all. Setting: The whole area is surrounded by beautiful plants and tree, making me feel like staying in the forest. Everyday I woke up, was brushing teeth next to the nature and having...

This shore side hotel is not only conveniently located right off the boat dock at Santa Cruz and has some of the best views of the lake. Each room gives you a chance to relax and enjoy Lake Atitlan in comfort. The evening meal is well worth the experience. The food is cooked to perfection and carries great presentation. No...

Our room was under attack from huge spiders, seemingly constantly. The owners said the spiders don't bite, and we shouldn't worry about them. My wife and kids didn't completely agree. Then there were the scorpions and the roaches. See the photos I have posted. And the restaurant is right next to where the Tuk-tuks park, right by the main pier...

Dear Traveler From London, I am so sorry to hear about your experience at our Hotel. I am sure you are a well experienced traveler, for giving us such a review. At the mean time, our hotel is advertised as a rustic hotel, and huge garden and sometimes these insects can enter the rooms with not prior notice. We do...

We stayed here in September 2016. Pedro and Paulina, the owners, are an amazing couple. The staff were great and they were so patient with our lack of Spanish skills. They even taught us some. The food at the restaurant was so good and so plentiful. We loved the ambiance of the place. It is in a beautiful location with...

This hotel was well located, however the last boat is around 7;30PM and I missed it. So I had to pay about 30 dollars to get a private boat. you should be careful. This place is 2nd or 3rd stops from panajachel which is not too far. Room was nice and the view was really good. I like the bar...

We stayed two nights in this hidden gem owned by Pedro Solis of Tours Atitlán. We had a newly renovated bungalow facing the lake. The decor was rustic and trés-chic. The hotel's restaurant was surrounded by flowers that attracted beautiful hummingbirds. You could do some birding while you were having breakfast! The staff was friendly and very welcoming.
