This is a welcoming hotel in a very isolated corner of the world. It is built up the side of a hill, so it is definitely a trek up to the rooms, but it felt good to notice how that climb got just a bit easier, day by day. We arrived to the hotel by taking a transfer from ManuelAntonio,...

Its the people who make this hotel so good. Nothing is too much trouble. Small lodge 20 minutes walk from the nearest village, over looking the sea. Food was very good. Snorkeling trip was very good. Mangrove trip excellent and saw more wild life than walking trips seem to have seen in the Corcovada national park. Even saw squirrel monkeys.

Had a 4 night stay. All the staff are super friendly - they all know your name (spooky), are very attentive and helpful. The food was superb and plentiful. The bar staff are happy to suggest interesting non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails which are reasonably priced. The location is a short walk from Drake village and 2 beaches. It is not...

We stayed for 5 nights and every morning we were up by about 06:30 and in bed by about 21:00 and it was great. Trips out every day -snorkelling, to the mangrove, to walk in the reserve and so on. These all cost but they come with the boat, the guide and sometimes lunch. All meals are included and drinks...

I stayed at Aguila de Osa Inn from February 1-9 and it just was not long enough. My friends and I travel far and wide to scuba dive and Costa Rica had been on our bucket list for a while. I am not usually a review writer but I feel compelled this time. The Inn is beautiful with large rooms,...

We stayed at Aguila de osa from Feb 7 to 9. All in all we had a reasonable stay. I can understand some of the reviews assuming you have never travelled in Asia or Africa. Rooms were nice but dated, and for USD 600 per night I would expect some AC. The pick up at the airport was spotty and...

A little slice of Heaven in a remote corner of Costa Rica. If you want an authentic experience with professional and friendly service, Aguila de Osa can't be beat. We spent 8 nights in Room 11 (most private of all the rooms) and took in Birdwatching, the Mangrove tour, and the Night Tour with resident expert, Carlos Gonzales. Carlos has...

If you love nature and want to experience all the rain forest and ocean has to offer in a natural setting, Aguila de Osa is the place you need to go to. This place was a great hub for all of the activities you can do on the Osa Peninsula, but you didn’t even have to leave the resort to...

My husband and I stayed at Aguila de Osa Inn for 3 nights last week and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room had screens on 3 sides to allow for airflow and adequate fans as well. It was perfectly clean, plenty of towels provided and no nasty bugs on the room. The balcony with rocking chairs and hammock overlooking beautiful...

This is a charming and friendly lodge type hotel which is pleasantly small and where you get opportunity in the evenings to get to know your fellow guests. Plenty to do from walks, scuba diving, trips to the nature reserve, kayaking etc. This is quite a remote area but you can walk to the small village where, should you wish,...
