What a great, tranquil place to stay! Finca is a secluded paradise with a quaint atmosphere. The rooms are either private (stand alone) or semi-private (connected - you can hear your neighbor...). Each room has hammocks and porches. A terrific place to go and get away from it all. Finca has no TVs or computers. Each night, we chose to...

My husband and I stayed at Finca Maresia for 3 nights in April, 2012. We had a fantastic, though much too short, stay that was made really special by the care and attention that Miguel gives to the guests. Miguel greeted us as we made our way to shore following the boat ride from Sierpe and was more than helpful...

We've stayed twice at Finca Maresia. These guys (Juan and Miguel) make you feel special. They seem to anticipate your wants and needs and provide you with more than you could expect at most resorts. They're quick with a joke or amusing anecdote (in English or Spanish) and they just know what they are doing. They seem to know everybody...

We stayed in Finca Maresia the last four days of our stay in Costa Rica and we absolutly loved it! The best place we stayed in Costa Rica! The bungalows are a nice combination of nature and comfort. That is, comfortable beds but falling asleep with the sound of nature and waking up with the sound of howler monkeys. And...

We stayed at Finca Maresia for 3 nights, in the room above the common area. It was a spectacularly relaxing and enjoyable time. The environment was so peaceful, and beautiful. The food was delicious. Miguel, the host, was most kind, friendly and helpful. We visited Cano Island for snorkeling, and had a night time tour with the bug lady. All...

We stayed at Finca Maresia for 3 nights in February 2012. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. The breakfast has a great selection of food and the evening meals were fantastic, Juan even catered for the fussy vegetarian and did a fantastic job. While there we did one of the Sirena Ranger Station...

After checking out all the locations in Drake's bay we decided to stay here. What beautiful grounds with great views and plenty of birds to see. The rooms were cozy and very clean. In fact our cabin had an awesome balcony including a set of nesting Passerine tanagers in the ginger tree. The dinner was served family style which is...

This is THE place to be in Costa Rica! Can't think of a more beautiful location in the midst of nature. We had one of the budget rooms, it was spotlessly clean, very elegant and done from great materials. The whole place is perfectly thought through with many years of travel experience having been incorporated. Food is very tasty and...
