The hotel needs a significant cleaning and update. The rooms are small which is fine but mattresses are uncomfortable and need replacing. Our room had dirty walls, dirty light fixtures, and not totally clean bathroom. The best part is the location and very good wifi. Otherwise you can get better for same money nearby.

Overall, Domilocos is an ok place to stay and not a bad deal. However, there were two problems with my stay: first, there is a slight smell (could be from the sewage system) in the bathroom and second, the building appears to be amplifying sound from within the courtyard. I am not a light sleeper at all, but got woken...

We stayed here after reading all the reviews, but it was so disgusting. They had a sewer leak oustside and it stunk all night. They woke us up early trying to fix it. I got bed bugs from the bed, and the food was disgusting. Additionally, the service was not great. Glad to hear this hotel is for sale I...

This was the best hotel for the money that I stayed at. I had been traveling through Costa Rica for over two months and this hotel was by far the best value. The Dutch man at the desk helped me with any questions and there was a free breakfast. It was modest but there was more for the asking. It...

The hotel is for sale & the restaurant is already closed - I guess the best times are over. In our room was a moldy smell, the bed wasn't comfortable and the area was messy. The owner is a nice person but you can feel that she said already goodbye to the Domilocos.

Domilocos has seen better days, but it is still a good option (the wearoff is normal for a beach hotel). The location puts it walking distance from everything in Domincal, but you are not in the middle of the noise and party. The hotel used to have an excellent restaurant years ago, but sadly it is not functional anymore (a...

This was our 3rd year in a row in Dominical. We really like the laid back atmosphere here. It is our beach destination in the south. We always stay at Hotel Domilocos because it is close to the beach and village. The rooms are clean, breakfast is good (all you can eat) which is a good start to the day....

Hotel Domilocos is a nice place to stay in Dominical. We stayed in two rooms and they were clean and comfortable, with good AC. There were no TV´s but there was a private bathroom. The all you can eat breakfast was good enough but it was nice that it was all you can eat! A little expensive but good overall.

I stayed here 5 nights with a friend, so we got a room with 2 beds. The beds squeak so bad that anytime either of us moved we woke both of us up. I can function on very little sleep and everything else was nice so we didn't bother finding a new hotel. The staff were all friendly, the breakfast...

Set back 200 meters from an extraordinarily beautiful beach in a shaded, and quiet setting this unpretentious hotel is great value. Architecturally appealing with Mediterranean open arches in porticos connecting the rooms from an open courtyard and a lovely open air restaurant that we ended up eating almost all our meals in. The food delicious and affordable. The staff are...
