Villas Manu is one of the most stunning destinations I have ever had the fortune to enjoy. Situated on a mountain ridge in the middle of the tropical rain forest, the sweeping view is of the raw Pacific coastline way below and picturesque fields beneath a rugged mountainside carpeted in forest. But the home(s) on the top of this spectacular...

We arrived at Manu Villas late at night in the dark. I awoke the first morning anxious to see the day. As I stepped out onto the porch I gasped, the view was amazing. Our visit was a surpise to me so i hadn't seen any reviews or photos of where we would be. Everything was a treat and a...

We could never seem to get enough of the beauty, as we lived for a short time in the "Honeymoon" Indonesian cottage, high in the mountains overlooking the rainforest and Pacific Ocean. We felt so spoiled upon our arrival with vases of fresh cut flowers, a basket of fresh fruit, cold drinks and warm greetings from Grace and Alex. They...

My husband and I stayed at Bosque with another couple in April. It was tough decision to make because we were looking for a beach vacation, but there aren't any places to stay on the beach. This region does not allow building something like one mile from the ocean. We were also nervous because it was up a hill and...

The luxurious comfort of the villas as well as the European attention to detail makes this one of the most sublime stays I've ever had abroad. This is incredibly enhanced by the vital and panoramic surroundings of natural Costa Rica rain forest which we primarily came to see. Who in this world would believe they could be awakened by a...

From the moment we drove up the drive we knew there was going to be something special about Manu Villas- but nothing we had imagined compared to what we experienced. The grounds are stunning and villas were exquisite. If you have the chance, do stay in the treehouse- with West facing views across the jungle to breathtaking susnsets were the...

Our family of five (three teenage daughters) stayed at the Pavillion for six nights and we wished for more. The villa and surrounding area is just as described on their website. It was islolated enough so that we received the full jungle "feel", yet the accomodations are five star in every sense. Every morning we awoke to many toucans calling...

We stayed at Bosque en el Cielo with another couple in early April 2009 and had an excellent time. The house and the surrounding property are simply beautiful. We especially liked the beach at Dominical and took surfing lessons there, as well as Tortilla Flats for snacks and drinks afterwards. As for getting to the house, I would highly recommend...

An excellent relaxation opportunity for both of us. Surrounded by the wonders of mother nature - sights and sounds - and now memories that will last a lifetime. The early morning sounds of the parakeets to the late afternoon visits by the toucans - truly remarkable. Surrounded by butterflies in every color of the rainbow. Close proximity to quaint beaches....

I live in CR and have been to many vacation rental homes and many hotels, but none have been as memorable as Manu. When my parents were able to come visit me and my family, we booked the Pavillion for 3 nights. It was just perfect. The attention to detail in construction and flat ridge top location make it easy...

“Free wifi in the Dining/Main meeting Room. Surprisingly good internet connection for a place that seems so remote! If you work online you can work from here! Wifi reaches the private room at the north end of the meeting room and to the first room across the path to the south of the meeting room. We did not need the A/C.”
