Everyone was so great and the facilities were nice as well. It's the staff that make it though!! Clearly a great manager with happy employees. I also appreciated the service and food at the bar. Thank you so much!

The hotel was exceptionally clean; front desk greeted you with cheerful voices (since we can't see faces); extremely nice and helpful. Angela you were the best in welcoming us to Phoenix. The location was great; whatever store you need is not more than 10 minutes away (grocery, fast food, etc.). Stadium drive was less than 15 minutes. Rooms were very spacious, with plenty of storage for clothing, etc. Definitely practiced Covid guidelines. Pool was nice. Small workout room, but equipment is top of the line. All amenities are as promised on the website. The only complaint I had (and would have made this rating very good instead of excellent), is the housekeeping did not do a good job in cleaning the rooms on a daily basis (did not wipe tables and counters in the room). We gave that the benefit of the doubt and wanted to rate this property 'EXCELLENT'! I know if we would have reported it, the staff would have corrected it. Didn't want anyone to get in trouble, so we wiped them down ourself. I would not let this keep us from rating this as an excellent property. Maintenance was called to fix our thermostat and it was done promptly and efficiently. They served breakfast and it was more than danishes (eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes and more) - pretty good! We plan to stay here each time we visit Arizona. Loved it and the staff was great!

Room Tip: No knowledge of what would be best. The pool is to the back of the building if that helps?

My team and I had the honors of representing our state in a National Tennis Tournament in beautiful Surprise Arizona. I originally booked my hotel in advance with another hotel but canceled a few weeks before my arrival because they were unable to accommodate my request of no linen or towels. Which was a personal preference during this pandemic and the fact this would only be my second time staying in a hotel. So I quickly called Hilton Garden Inn made the same request and without hesitation their team member assured me that it would be taken care. From the moment I arrived to the hotel everyone I met greeted me with a warm smile. Although we are in a pandemic Hilton Garden Inn made sure myself and my teammates felt extremely safe while enjoying all the amenities. Paul and Will were absolutely fantastic at the bar and we still had a blast all the while they still enforced social distancing and sanitation of the bar. Our Chef Eric our fitness and outdoors man, kept us fueled with an outstanding hot breakfast every morning and was always anxious to know how we did after each tennis match. I can’t forget Nador in housekeeping, he had such an amazing spirit and made sure we had all we needed for our room. I honestly did not want my trip to end because I felt like I was leaving my closest friends. It’s just as important to make sure your guest feel safe during such a crazy time but it’s even more important to truly connect and engage with your guest and make their experience truly memorable. Hands down Hilton Garden Inn exceeded my expectations and the next time I’m in Surprise AZ, I’m only staying at the Hilton Garden Inn because they truly treat you like family.

We stayed 7 nights over the Christmas period at this location. The hotel public areas and gym are well done. The room we stayed in (king bed ) was modern, clean and well maintained. It had great lighting for a hotel room and plenty of usb ports as well as good WiFi access. The bathroom was well equipped including a walk-in shower. As you can tell we liked the room. The negatives we experienced were with housekeeping, the pool and breakfast. Upon arrival we inquired about process for towel replacement and overall housekeeping. We were told towels would be replaced daily but sheets were every 5 days or upon request. This seemed very reasonable but the housekeeping execution was not consistent. Mid-week we were missing an outside bath math and hand towel - no biggie . The real issue is the last 2 days of our stay we had NO housekeeping service even though we were out of the room all day so had to keep going down to the front desk for new towels. Another issue was the outside pools heater was broken and not fixed . Lastly the breakfast buffet (chargeable) was really poor. We have had much better ‘free’ breakfast buffets at Hampton Inns. These service relate issues were disappointing given our prior Hilton hotel experiences.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Room was spacious enough and included a refrigerator and microwave, as well as a Keurig. Towels, bedding and in-room coffee station were all refreshed daily. The breakfast was perfect and the omelettes and a la carte menu items were very cooked well and delicious. The hotel was new, modern, very clean, and well maintained. Staff followed covid protocol. The hot tub, pool and fire pit were nice. The location is just a few minutes from the tennis center, and there are many restaurants and stores nearby. All staff were friendly and courteous. Views of the mountains from upper levels were fantastic. I enjoyed my stay.

Clean hotel. Common areas closed at 10. L ady working front desk even said we couldn’t socialize outside after 10pm. Group booked 8 rooms there for 3 nights we should be able to sit together if we aren’t disturbing other guests.

We were here for a meeting at the hotel. The property looks nice and is new. I don't know what the rooms are like but the lobby and staff were helpful in sending us toward the meeting room.
There was hors d'oeuvres served along with drinks including wine and beer during the meeting and they didn't run out of things. That was nice. The meeting room was smaller but large enough for our group. Sound and video systems did work well.

We stayed here four nights and were pleased with the fourth floor room, the lobby/bar/breakfast area, and the grounds. It’s a newer hotel. Very quiet while we were there.
Breakfast buffet has a $9 charge, but let me tell you, it was worth it after all the meager bagged hotel breakfasts we experienced during Covid. Large variety of pastries and bread, two kinds of yogurt, cooked oatmeal with lots of toppings including walnuts and chia seeds, juices, and four or five fresh fruit choices. Angie and Maria were friendly and helpful in getting the breakfast items we wanted.
We also throughly enjoyed the service from Orlando and Will in the bar area over several nights. They too were very responsive and worked to get our cocktails just right. For a small bar, it was well stocked with assortment of beer, wine, and liquors.
Besides the pool, there are two other outside seating areas. We enjoyed the breakfast patio and the fire pit lounge.
In spite of some Covid limitations on the housekeeping and restaurant offerings, we really recommend this hotel! We will be staying there again.

We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the folks we were visiting and the reviews. I'm so glad we stayed here!

The hotel was sparkling clean, from the lobby to the elevator to the fitness facilities to the room itself, sparkling clean. I felt safe and comfortable, and happy the entire stay. The room was a good size, and the staff was helpful during check-in and check-out. The fitness room had enough equipment to get a full workout in the morning, and the parking lot felt safe.

The location is very suburban, so you're looking at chain restaurants, and it's a drive to the city, but we knew that before booking and were satisfied.

We would stay here again and again. So clean!
