This is a short review and all you need to know are a few things. First, beds are super comfortable, rooms have western decor, and it is very clean. Second, Tom and Cheryl are excellent host and whip-up a full breakfast in a family style setting. Third, book early since this is a hidden gem, you can’t go wrong staying here. It is a relaxing place you don’t have to be concerned with loud guest. I loved watching sunrise at 5:30am and having coffee in the courtyard next to the lovely fountain. Again, book early!

The owners of this beautiful B & B were very articulate in their directions to get to the place. They were most cordial and accommodating. WE arrived before dark so we could easily find the place. It would have been tricky in the dark. We unpacked our things into 2 of their quaint and very clean rooms, then went to dinner. We came back OK in the dark. Late into the night, we ladies played Mexican Train in the dining room while sampling our purchases from earlier in the day. The next day the hosts made us an incredible delicious breakfast and joined us while we ate to tell us all about the area. I almost hate to post this as they may be too booked up the next time we want to go.

As a person that has travelled 7 figures in miles, mostly on business but now just for pleasure, La Hacienda de Sonoita is as good as the best I've stayed at and aside from the excellent facility, Tom and Cheryl Rogos are the perfect host and hostess. Your morning coffee is always ready on time, the morning feast is just that and you never know what good food will be at the table until it is promptly there. As a B & B, there are a limited number of rooms all of which have themes and are a pleasure to stay in. If you need a bit of animal therapy, there are also Pepe and Indy who will provide it as long as you happen to arrive with some good dog biscuits. There is only one drawback to staying at the La Hacienda and that's the turn off to it at night and the maintenance of that unpaved road, but it's safe and manageable and well worth the small effort required. They have a well stocked great room with books, games and other stuff, and outside facilities to barbecue if you desire, and you'll find that Tom and Cheryl are a wonderful host and hostess as well as two vey fine people.

Edward, Thank you for your great review and we are glad you enjoyed yourself at our B&B. Sonoita is a rural and rustic area with great natural beauty. Hope to see you again soon. Sonoita is growing quickly and we are seeing growth and development in the Wineries and the community but it still holds a special place in our hearts.

We loved this place in the middle of nowhere. Very private and the owners made a perfect morning breakfast. The stars in the sky and the fire in the outdoor fireplace was a perfect day to wrap up the day.

Top notch way to spend a weekend visiting wineries and not having to worry about your meals or transportation to and from the wineries. We spent a short weekend Friday-Sunday with 4 couples here in March 2019. Our stay included 2-breakfasts and one dinner meal all home cooked and served to you around a cozy dining table. The stay additionally included 4 hours of transportation for our group of 8 to area wineries with the option of adding additional hours if needed. Everyone was superb, very accommodating, polite and meals were great. If you have any special dietary requests I understand they accommodate this also. The B&B is off a dirt road and quite isolated without being out in the boondocks. Take head to the driving directions from the owner on the web site! We would definitively come again! We had a great time!
