Nice place. The tub and sauna are great on a cold winter day. The high light was hand feeding deer in the front of the cabin. They have all the cooking utensils that you need even a BBQ. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake

This couples only resort features small cabins each with a hot tub, full kitchen (no oven) plus a bbq, WiFi, a living room, satelite tv, and two televisions. The staff are friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a romantic and relaxing break from the city where you can feed deer by hand, look no further.

Great atmosphere, we enjoyed the privacy that Tallpine offers. Very walkable place to store and restaurants. We brought our sleds but didn't end up using them due to closed trails and we couldn't easily unload them next to our cabin. Very friendly deer and owners answered all our questions! We would stay longer next time!

We stayed here several times in the past and again this past pring and I'm sorry to say I would not return. Very very dated, in desperate need of updates....the cabins were not the cleanest...too bad as this once was a great place to stay.

Hi Mike49655, thanks for taking the time to write a review. Sorry to hear that your last stay was not up to your expectations. My husband and I purchased the resort just over 3 years ago, and have been working every year to do more and more updates to the resort. We have completely renovated cabin 5, and done significant...

We checked in to our cabin, enjoyed the sauna & jacuzzi and the peacefulness the nature scene provides. We hiked a small trail just left of the Marina/Campground called the Dragon Fire Trail which was short but had various opportunities to rock climb. Tall Pines is a great couples only resort that offers various forms of activities all year round....

Tallpine Lodges was nice. We hadn't been there in about 27 years and I'm sure the place hadn't been drastically updated since then. The owners talked about upgrading which would be really nice. The cabin we stayed in was cozy, clean and had both a hot-tub and sauna. The ceiling tiles looked like they were going to fall off but...

Hi BetsJane, thanks for the review. You are right, this place has not been updated in many years. My Husband and I bought the place just over 3 years ago and have done a significant amount of work already. Unfortunately most of it at the moment is unseen. (Straightening cabins, re insulating and roofing) We have completely renovated cabin 5,...

We wanted to stay only one night in West Hawk Lake, we were looking to do some biking/hiking/swimming in the area over a weekend. We wanted a mini-vacation at a reasonable-not-too-expensive place, and be able to cook our own meals. We're a couple, and we generally like to keep to ourselves, so this place was perfect to set up a...

Stayed here for 2 nights during August, cabin was nice, a little dated but nice. Only complaint I would have is the shower, it sprays everywhere, you can not adjust it, and there is also no room to move around. We stayed in cabin no.4 which was the smaller one with a Murphy bed. Perfect for 2 people. Would recommend...

Stayed at cabin # 6 a luxury plus cabin and it sure was luxury - big hot tub, sauna, king size bed, front and back private decks! Really enjoyed the hot tub every evening and mornings watching the deer go past. Only thing would suggest maybe standing fan in the bedroom as it got very warm in there with hot...

We enjoyed a stay here over the August long weekend. This is a resort for adult couples only and there is a remote controlled gate to prevent non-guests from driving into the cabin area, so it is very quiet and relaxing. The owners are very friendly and so is their little Jack Russell Terrier. She is a quiet friendly little...
