The resort is in one of the most breath taking settings I have ever seen. Every single staff member is pleasant, courteous and seems to enjoy working there! The meals and food were of outstanding quality. I will say that nothing is included in the price of the room that you will eventually need (food, drinks, non self guided based activities, spa) so the expenses seriously add up! However for a splurge this place was unbeatable. One minor caveat was that the rooms are not sound proof so you can hear the neighbors if they are loud and can hear outside. Minor inconvenience but worth noting for very light sleepers!
wonderful, staff overly friendly, loved the access to private hike , scenery was great, food wonderful close to other hikes, clean rooms , room service was excellent, close to downtown sedona, quiet and private,
Very beautiful place. Everybody was friendly and cordial. The views were breathtaking. We wanted to do the golf chip and putt but the sprinklers were on too long. No big deal though. We will definitely be back.
Go, go, go! The location will take you to a different time and place. The stunning scenery can not be believed. The service will elevate your impression of the world that exists beyond the beautiful protected bubble that you will find to be enchanting.
Here are the things you need to be prepared for...if you have any cell service other than Verizon, you have NO cell service in this canyon and resort. I didn’t even have decent cell service with the WiFi. The resort is a drive away from the actual town of Sedona, this is good in that its due to it actually being inside the canyon and red rocks but it’s bad if you need any kind of basic supplies. Our room was walkable to the main resort (king suite) but it’s not walkable at night if you’re wet and coming from the hot tub. It’s cold at night and the rooms can be far, even with a lift by golf cart. The pool heater was not working and nobody really explained where the other pool that was working was at. The actual SPA is closed. They do have nice rooms that have been converted to spa rooms and our services were very good but don’t go expecting to lounge in or around a spa. There isn’t one that’s open until 2022. Also, these spa rooms were at the far end of the resort so no walking to your service in a robe, FYI. The room value was ok, we really enjoyed our room but the rate sky rocketed over the weekend and it was not worth that price. The food at the restaurants is very good and the room service food was terrible. Their cocktails were also fun and tasty. We did an art lesson and loved it. You must hike the trails behind the property! Once the Spa reopens in 2022 I would return and I would not go in February:). Overall it was lovely and you can tell they work hard at curating an experience to remember.…
