I loved this place. You cannot beat the location (can hike and bike right from the property and walk into town for food and bike rentals). The views are outstanding. Mountains and desert! Amenities include a fire pit with smores every night, private kitchen with everything you need, propane grills for BBQing, heated pool and hot tubs for after hiking/biking, standalone chalets for privacy, lots of outdoor seating and activities (corn hole) so that you can enjoy the scenery, and ample parking. The staff is very accommodating. Chalets are small but clean. The view from the lofts are a 10. The spiral staircase is a head bonker, so watch out. The living area could use one more comfy chair so that a family of four has enough seating. Overall, I'd call this place a perfect March getaway. Will be back!…
We loved our stay in Chalet A! Just wished we could have stayed longer! The setting couldn’t be more beautiful, the room was clean and the grounds are well maintained. My 7-year-old spent tons of time in the pool / hot tub day and night. The beds are super comfy and all the staff were friendly. It was fun sitting by the fire roasting s’mores at night and chatting with other guests. I am looking forward to planning a girls getaway here in the future!!
This is the second year we've stayed at Red Agave and enjoyed a couple of days of hiking. it's become a favorite for our 9 & 10 year old boys as they can hike right outside the door. It's a beautiful setting at the base of the mountains. The accommodations are extremely clean and unique which makes it even more fun for the kids. The pool, hot tub and fire pit with s'mores are a perfect addition. Small and quaint but with restaurants and groceries within walking distance. We will be staying there each year when we visit Sedona as part of our annual Phoenix Spring Break trip.
This small resort ticked all my boxes for a great place to stay. Mind boggling views✔ clean ✔ comfy bed✔ nicely appointed ✔ friendly staff✔ I would stay here again, for longer, or recommend it to anyone.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place-honestly I was a bit nervous. We stayed in one of the chalets and it was really nice. You can tell it’s an older establishment with some remodeling. But it’s very well kept and clean. The views are amazing!!! Only thing that needs some attention is the spiral stairs to the loft. OUCH I hit my head pretty good on it and my sister got her shoulder. There was some attempt of rubber bumpers but I of course did not hit my head on those. That is my one and only complaint. Nice clean pool and hot tubs. Nightly fire and free s’mores if you like. I would return.
