We only stayed one night in Sedona and were happy we chose this hotel. It was clean, COVID restrictions were in place and the staff were amazing! Hylah, the concierge, was incredible! She was helpful in providing suggestions on food and activities. She spent time with me going over different choices and never pressured us to do anything. The front desk staff, too, were so nice and helpful. I would def stay here again should we go back to Sedona.
Located on the west side of Sedona, this newer hotel by Marriott is an excellent choice. As for COVID times, they require mask inside the hotel at all times so the internal environment is basically safe. Rooms are designed with efficiency in mind Views are spectacular and the grounds are finished to fit the surroundings. We have been to Sedona numerous times and this was our first time at this property. We will definitely be returning to this property or the new sister property adjacent to this one, a Marriott Residence Inn.
I just completed a 1 night stay here on NYE for 2 different rooms (Room #235 and #236). The cash rate was a whopping $550+ per night for NYE and they were sold out. They didn't have connecting rooms but they put me in two rooms next to one another. I'm a Platinum Elite with Bonvoy. There wasn't much by the way of Platinum Elite benefits. My room wasn't ready until 4 PM and they didn't allow a late check-out since they were totally sold out. So check-out was 11 AM. They did allow for luggage storage before the room was ready and also the day of check-out. The front desk staff were super friendly. They explained that I got a $20 food/beverage credit on both of the rooms as a Platinum elite. ($40 total). They had a FABULOUS cafe next to the lobby. I was amazed as the food was so good. We got a few breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burrito. Some banana bread and pastries and everything was delicious. They had a bar at night as well. I can't emphasize enough how friendly everyone was. They even had a concierge that was super friendly and made lunch reservations for us for New Year's Day. She made it at Mesa Grill which I highly recommend. It was delicious and had a great view of planes taking off at the local airport. The rooms were great. We had a room with 2 Queen beds and another with 1 King bed and everything was super clean, spacious and comfortable. They had a balcony with a great view. They also had a heated outdoor pool but we were too busy and didn't have a chance to use it. The lobby area was great. I've never stayed at a Courtyard but I'm sure this has to be one of the nicest Courtyards. I don't think I'd pay this nightly cash rate and I see for the week after the rate was $183 + $23.47 tax = $206.47 which is reasonable for the quality. The location was decent. Not in the downtown area but we had our car so it was easy. It's just 8 minutes from Red Rock State Park. I thought $500+ per night per room was pricey but I imagine it's just because it was NYE. The city was really busy and most hotels were sold out. The lobby area was very nice with comfy sofas. There is an outdoor pool but I didn't use it. Our room had a small balcony with great view. It faced the street and there wasn't any street noise from the room. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and I'd stay here again based on this experience. I would have preferred to have been closer to town but it wasn't too big of a deal as we were out and about. There are several stores and restaurants within a 5 minute drive of the hotel including a Safeway, Whole Foods, the McDonald's (with the only non Golden Arches) and many other places.…
I love Courtyards because I always have a good experience with the brand. The hotel was very clean, the room was modern and the staff were excellent. The hotel was rather busy the day we stayed and customer service was still excellent. I will definitely stay at this property again.
This hotel is not worth the price. I’ve stayed at many Marriotts across the country with a much lower price tag and the rooms were both nicer and cleaner. We stayed this past week paid $500 plus /night and the shower was not even cleaned. Outside of covid times this would be bother me, but now it’s even more of a concern. There was residue from the previous occupant and also a razor cover on the ledge of the shower; the cleaning crew did not even touch the shower. Makes me wonder what else was not cleaned. The customer service was pleasant and the hotel had views from their floor deck but otherwise NOT WORTH THE MONEY. In the past week we have stayed at three other hotels, two of which were Hilton’s and it was a much cleaner, more comfortable, and spacious room. Would not stay here again. Bummer too because usually a Marriott fan.…
