The ONLY reason I stayed here was because I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that was held mere steps from the hotel, in Old Town's Marshall Gardens. Upon check-in I noticed that a previous guest had spilled coffee down the wall, which was not cleaned up by staff. The room was ridiculously overpriced (no discount for being in a...

Julie M., as you are a first time reviewer on TripAdvisor, please be advised that your review has been reported to TripAdvisor as inaccurate and untrue. When you notified our hotel team while you were a guest recently, our Security Director quickly did a full investigation into your on property credit card activity. There was a full lock interrogation performed...

The Saguaro is a fun, quirky hotel located right in Old Town Scottsdale. I was a bit skeptical about this hotel given some of the reviews but here's my take. The pros are location, staff, clean and spacious rooms, nice hotel grounds and pool. The spa was also nice but they were completely booked so I couldn't get an appointment....

As others have mentioned, this hotel is in a great location. Just steps to Old Town Scottsdale, and there is a large park right behind the hotel. The decor is bright and fun, with an industrial theme, but the setup left very little storage room for our clothing and 'stuff'. There is no bureau in the room, there were two closets...

This was a perfect location for a one night stay for business. I enjoyed walking around Old Town Scottsdale during the evening. It is within walking distance of many great restaurants and art galleries. Valet is available and my bags were delivered to my room quickly. I loved the bright colors and architecture of the buildings. Other reviewers have mentioned...

I have to start out saying I absolutely loved this place. My expectations are different than others. This use to be (more than likely), a run down, mom and pop motel, turned into a fun, funky, colorful, vibrant place in Old Town Scottsdale. THAT...is exactly what you should expect. Don't expect high end. The rooms are on the small side....

The location of this hotel is great, the restaurant Distrito is fabulous, and the spa massage was one of the best I've ever had (for $89 too!) but the hotel desperately needs updating. The property is dated, but livable. Just make sure you get a good deal on the per night rate or you'll be disappointed!

I recently stayed at The Saguaro for a three-day stay in AZ. For the cost of the room and additional fees, including resort fees and housekeeping gratuities, it was just not worth what I spent. My room was musty smelling and noisy. The décor and overall look of the hotel is old with lots of wear and with several layers...

I really wanted our visit to this hotel to be top notch and had been looking forward to it but was rather disappointed. When I asked my wife what she thought she said "Well.....there were a few good things, but a lot of bad things" and that pretty much sums up our feelings. The hotel is in a great location...

This dump needs to be leveled! I was so embarrassed that I set my friends that were visiting and myself up in this place. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Scottsdale is the place to go for art, shopping and nightlife in the Valley of the Sun. Now there's a hotel creating even more desire around the desert experience. The Saguaro has arrived, bringing with it a new look to where Old Town, the Arts district and Civic Center Mall meet. Bright, lush and vibrant, it's a fresh face amid Scottsdale's buzzing downtown scene. Guestrooms & Suites: The Saguaro experience begins, fittingly enough, outside amid the arid weather and brilliant sunlight of the Sonoran Desert. Each room exterior is accented by the color of a native desert flower, creating a visual spectrum throughout the resort grounds. Inside, your room's primary color is joined by contemporary and natural furnishings in wood and leather, including hand-crafted pieces imported from Mexico. Services & Amenities: A stay here is about relaxation, nature and yes, our two famous pools. Both are easy walks from every room, heated and ringed by cabanas. The Saguaro Spa welcomes you to de-stress even further. When it's time to recharge, the comprehensive fitness center will get you looking your best for around the poolside bar. Guestroom Amenities• All rooms renovated October 2016• Flat screen, wall mounted 42" HDTVs• Authentic, traditional Mexican furniture • Views of Old Town and Civic Center park (select rooms)• Outdoor patios or step out balconies • Soaking tubs and separate shower (suites)• Work desks• Wireless Internet• Stereo with iPod docking station• On-demand movies and music. Meetings: It's the weather. The golf courses: The deals closed over cocktails by the pool. Whatever the reason, Scottsdale is a top choice for corporate gatherings. The Saguaro provides over 15,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, with wraparound patios, fireplaces, and a fire pit. We're ready to make your event a strategic success. Scottsdale's business climate is dynamic.
