We said in the hotel on our way from Grand canyon/Sedona trip, it was our last night in Arizona. The room was spacious and very clean, all hotel staff was very friendly. Hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Totally worth the money.

We have stayed at a number of motels and hotels in the Prescott area and this was among one of the best experiences we have had. We booked directly with the Green Tree which allowed text message contact throughout the experience. Our room was around $130 a night with taxes and fees. We also paid a $25 pet fee for each night. The hotel is conveniently located off of Highway 69. That does mean that there is road noise so consider that in room selection though the hotel site was fairly quiet despite being busy. It is a drive to your door hotel which means you can avoid some shared spaces. There is free off street packing though it is limited. Our room was ample size with two queen beds, desk with chair, bureau storage, microwave and minifridge. Bedding was little thin. Internet was reliable and free. There was a very good full hot breakfast (biscuits, eggs, sausage, waffles) served in a separate dining room with take away supplies. Staff was friendly and competent. It is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. We found it to be a reasonably priced, convenient, comfortable place to stay while visiting family in Prescott Valley.

This moment I walked in I thought I had picked a decent place however I was incredibly mistaken. Every other hotel I’ve ever stayed at when I booked through Booking.com used the card we booked we. Never had any issues with this until I came here and was forced to use a different card that I did not want to use because the card I used to book with was with my husband and I had arrived 2-3 hours earlier than him. The front desk clerk was just so rude about it too, which made an immediate impression on me. When I was shown where I’d be staying and when I pulled around the building, I was met with someone playing their music in their car extremely loud, on purpose. I then went into the room and just instantly regretted my decision to stay there. The bed was the only thing that remotely looked clean or “new.” Everything from the carpet to the bathroom looked so used and unclean due to no updates being done. If you walked around the building there was yellow caution tape around half the other side and looked like graffiti on the other front building. The first night we slept there, was so awful. There was a group of men right below our room basically standing in the parking lot drinking and smoking and just being loud... The AC in our room was broken to where you could not turn it off. You could only set it to heat, AC or Fan. This list could go on but the worst part was being over charged by the hotel claiming we had pets when we did not. I’m so over all of it then I don’t even care to fight with the GM cause I was told TODAY after I checked my bank transactions the GM “saw me walk dogs into my room” If this is the case, why was I not asked in person and over charged a week later? Either way, please don’t stay here. I spent over $400 to stay here and I completely regret it. There are way nicer and maybe pricier hotels up the road but you’ll be doing yourself a HUGE favor.

Firstly, as far as the room is concerned, it was very dingy and old, and certainly not worth the $180 total price tag. I've seen Motel 6 rooms that were nicer. We have a small dog and maybe the pet-friendly rooms aren't as nice, but just because we travel with our dog doesn't mean we live like animals. The carpet was old and stained, the tub/shower was old and gross, and everything just screamed old and run-down. Maybe the tv is new, but the rest of it needs a long overdue upgrade. Even the color of the walls is a drab ugly gray and gives the room an overall feeling of doom and gloom. I will say the sheets did seem clean. We were only staying one night and thought we could make do since the sheets seemed okay. Now, comes the horror part. Sometime after midnight, the person staying in the room above us was either tweaking out on some drug, or having withdrawals from one and needed a fix. For the next four hours they were constantly pacing the room, and their steps were extremely loud and thunderous. I don't know if they were very heavy or if they just normally walked with a heavy step, but it seemed like they were stomping around, almost purposefully. At one point we had to wonder if someone locked a 600lb gorilla in the room, it was that bad. Whoever it was, they could not sit still or lie down and sleep. The pounding would stop long enough for us to start to drift asleep and then suddenly, BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! continually for three to five minutes. Then it would stop for a few minutes and then start up again. This went on until after 4 in the morning. At some point it sounded like someone came to their door, as we heard voices for a brief period of time and then the door closed. I don't know if this person got the drugs they were so desperately needing or if someone from the office came to tell them they were getting complaints, but shortly afterward (10-15 mins.), the stomping stopped and we finally were able to get to sleep (approx. 4:30am). I know we should have called the office immediately, but my thought was that they would finally settle down at some point. Then when it looked like that wasn't going to happen, I began to think someone very dangerous was upstairs and I feared they would retaliate if we complained. When we were leaving, we noticed a truck with personalized plates that read "Mad Joe," and had to wonder if that's who was stomping around all night. Needless to say, we will not be staying at this "motel" ever again.

Friendly staff! Clean rooms, no smell of smoke. Nice pool, and jacuzzi area. Got there the day before opening season, and was a little bummed I was told it was open when calling the day before arrival. Luckily, it did open the next day, as I was told by hotel staff upon check in. The hot breakfast available in the morning, is awesome. Literally, will save you money, not having to pay to eat breakfast at a restaurant, and definitely beats fast food! Waffle maker, pastries, sausage, toast, bagels, juice, fresh fruit, coffee, etc. and a little mini fridge with fruit cups, and yogurts which I thought was great to grab to-go on the way out. I would definitely stay here again, and plan to again soon. Thanks for the nice stay!
